Her sole purpose is to help people resolve their physical and emotional pain. She offers live trainings and 1-1 consultations. She has specialised in work related to emotional health and wellbeing over the last 5 years. She has facilitated The Sparkle Programme for a group with particular emphasis on Confidence building and self-esteem and also the Square Pegs Programme for a group with emphasis on life skills and coping strategies. She delivered topic specific workshops to primary school teachers for the school year 2011-2012. She has been involved with the voluntary sector – OANDA Cork (Out and About) since May 2010 and has worked on a one-to-one basis with clients who have been directly affected by redundancy and its effects both on a social level and the impact on their confidence. Given that we are all on our own special journey in life, one thing is guaranteed – that all our experiences are punctuated with emotions. How we deal with these emotions shapes who we are and how we respond and react to situations in the future. How do you manage your emotions? When you are upset and down do you address the issue or stuff down the emotions with chocolate, cigarettes or other distractions like ‘keeping busy?’ A wound will not heal properly if it is infected. Putting a plaster on you anger, fears and other emotions only masks them. These negative emotions do not ‘go away’ on their own.
