As soon as she started dental school, Angie knew she wanted to be an orthodontist. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 as a dentist with First Class Honours and went on to gain valuable experience working in general practice before moving to Sydney to pursue her passion for orthodontics. It was here that Angie completed her Clinical Doctorate (DClinDent) in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney.

Orthodontics is more than just a profession to Lachlan. He is passionate about delivering exceptional results believing there is no challenge too great. He has a special interest in adult orthodontics and utilises his great communication skills to make all patients feel comfortable when sitting in his chair.
As an adult embarking on my orthodontic journey I had a lot of nerves and anxiety coming into the process. Right from my very first appointment this completely disappeared. The team at Edge are amazing. They are all so professional and kind and genuinely care. By the end it felt like visiting friends. We have been coming here for nearly three years and have received nothing but excellent service from Lachlan and his team. You don't feel like just another customer and instead are treated like friends.
3 years with Edge Ortho I can happily recommend them. I went through surgery, an expander, braces, and invisalign. The group at Edge Ortho supported me the whole way and kept my mind at peace. Huge thanks guys, I really appreciate how kind and professional everyone has been!

Great edge with many many close calls to getting some actual white on people's teeth. Lasted about 6 hours and then they closed up shop. Thanks Edge!
Had a great experience with Dr Phelan and the team at EDGE Orthodontics. I had a tight schedule to get some work done, and they nailed it. Cannot recommend enough their professionalism and quality of work. You won't regret coming here.
Fear and anxiety put me off having braces until my 50's! I overcame this with Edge Orthodontics and actually looked forward to my appts. Edge Ortho are 'The 'Real Deal'. The whole team genuinely love what they do because it shows in their professional, compassionate and personalised approach and treatment plans. I found appts ran on time and there is also convenient onsite parking. Dr Lachlan Crowther is kind and happily answered any questions throughout my treatment process. Really helpful and kind receptionists. I’m about 30 weeks into my Invisalign treatment (out of 70) - the results even so far I am am seriously impressed with. This orthodontic clinic is miles apart from the one I went to as a teenager. Nicole at reception (if I remembered her name correctly) is particularly helpful. She dealt with an issue, that while at no fault of the clinic (delay in retainer delivery), was of course frustrating for me. I left the interaction seriously impressed with the customer service and alternative options - and not frustrated at all!... (Show more)
Highly recommended. The clinic runs like a well oiled machine and in 28 months I never once had an appointment run late. Very satisfied with the results of Dr Phelan's treatment plan. Thank you to everyone at the team who cared for me.
Excellent service and highly accommodating to individual needs. Dr Lachlan Crowther and his friendly staff have prioritized my appointment times always fit to my timetable. I had my invisalign treatment with Edge orthodontics and they did an amazing job. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the team made my invisalign journey an easy to manage and pleasant experience. I couldn't be happier with my new smile.

A fantastic experience all round! I can’t believe how quickly and smoothly the process to straighten my teeth has been. It feels like I only just started the process and it’s already over! As someone who went through five years of braces in my teens I was nervous about more orthodontic work, but the team at Edge have been incredible. They made it a smooth and efficient process (I had the Spark aligners) and they actually cared and listened to me. Amanda in particular was wonderful and made sure I didn’t feel any pain during any of the procedures (I have very sensitive teeth) and I am so grateful for her! Thank you SO MUCH!... (Show more)
Being an adult, the idea of braces was daunting. But Dr Crowther and both his dental team and admin team, all helped my Invisalign treatment and were nothing but welcoming, efficient, professional and kind. I can't believe how they have changed my teeth. Dr Crowther is a magician!!! he should win the Nobel peace prize for teeth!!. I always made the drive down from sunshine coast for my appointments because I enjoyed my experience there so much I didn't want to change. They also offered payment plans which helped me so much when I was a uni student initially. I will forever recommend them to everyone.... (Show more)
The staff were delightful, kind and caring. My daughter always loved coming for her appointments and having a chat with all the team. The appointments were always on time and they were great at being flexible to try and adapt any time we needed to move one. My daughter started treatment at the age of 8 needing a jaw expander and early braces to allow room for adult teeth to come through and we are Wally happy with her first phase of treatment.... I got my braces put in at edge orthodontics and they looked after me for over 3 years! Very thorough team that genuinely want to help you achieve what you want with your smile. Super grateful for how much they were able to do for me and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!
