Ear Nose Throat Sinus Head and Neck Clinic

I developed an acute flu like symptom suddenly early morning on a Saturday. It was very difficult to find clinics that accepted walk-ins or were operating on a weekend early morning. Dr. Kevin's office was very helpful - the staffs were super responsive (via phone and WhatsApp) and supportive of my urgency to see a doctor. I was able to see the doctor shortly after I called the clinic as they put me in between appointments. I was seen within 5 minutes of wait time. Dr. Kevin was so gentle with his scopes (barely felt something was going down my nostril 😅) and was extremely attentive. He also shares the images in much detail and makes you feel assured you're in good hands. Got my medications on the spot and the front desk nurses explained how to use them in detail as well. Great experience with Dr. Soh. I called in early in the morning. Initially, his staff said he had back to back appointments and I requested to be added to the waiting list for any cancellations. They messaged shortly and squeezed me in. He was able to quickly remediate my ear issue as well as some other concerns. I appreciated the fast and thorough care. I had my one sided tonsilectomy done here. Post surgery, it wasn't as painful as expected, the pain scale is only 3 when chewing food and 1 when not eating. I only took painkiller twice (for my case, I can't say the same for others). I was turn away by this for sometime prior to surgery because I heard the pain scale can be as high as 8 for some. Recovery was smooth and I was already resuming normal activity from 3rd day onwards. I decided to do this because I keep getting symptoms of tonsilitis since young, fever, runny nose, cough, throat pain very few months and have to depend on antibiotics quite often. my only issue is that the ward stay could have been more comfortable. post surgery, I have some billing issues but thankfully it was settled to satisfactory. The doctor did not help with my hearing problem, I told him I had this eustachian tube dysfunction problem for over 2 months and it's causing problems to my daily life as the pressure off the ears and lost of hearing is very uncomfortable to me daily, and all he said was your ears are healthy and I will give you some medicines and nasel spray, didn't even tell me a solution for it if the problem is still there after 7 days of medication. So if you have too much money like $760 extra and do not know where to spend it, you can go see this "ENT doctor". I have to go to SGH to see the doctors there, at least they offered me a solution, a day surgery to expand the inner ear tube. The SGH doctor said why didn't this kevin soh do anything for you.... I’m greatly indebted and grateful to Dr Kevin Soh. Here’s my story: About 10 years ago+, when I was still a student, I suffered from chronic nose pain + regular nose bleed + chronic flu-like symptoms. The nose pain was so bad that it affected my daily life that I stopped schooling and doing the usual things in life. I couldn’t do anything at all. I have consulted numerous doctors from many hospitals in Singapore including SGH, NUH, KTPH etc but they always said there’s nothing wrong with me. The worst part was one of the doctors in these hospitals sent me to see a psychologist who in turned tried to brainwash me into thinking that the root of the problem was me “imagining” the pain due to childhood trauma. After the diagnosis, my family and friends thought I was crazy. It was the toughest period of my life. I knew firmly deep down the pain was real. Hence I decided to come out to work for a year to save money and try to seek more professional help from private doctor. Thankfully, I met Mr Kevin Soh who was sharp enough to diagnose all the underlying issues after 2-3 consultations. Turns out, a benign cyst at my molar area was the one causing me pain which no other doctor other than Mr Kevin Soh was able to point out. I also had deviated nose septum and swollen turbinates. Dr Kevin Soh proposed a day surgery to solve these problems. However, the exorbitant surgical fees were out of reach for me back then even after 1 year of saving money, but Dr was compassionate and understanding and offered me some alternative financial arrangements which can allow me to do the surgery first instead of having to continue to save more money, endure the pain and come back later. After the day surgery, all my symptoms were greatly alleviated and my quality of life has significantly improved as I no longer suffer from any pain, nose bleed or chronic runny nose. This is all thanks to Dr Kevin Soh who not only has great expertise in his field of work but also has deep compassion to his patients. This review is long overdue. Dr Kevin Soh is an excellent doctor. I had a sinus and deviated septum correction surgery done and the results have been fantastic. The team of Celine and Li Li are also very helpful and would thank them for all the help. Dr Kevin is highly recommended if you are having ENT issues.

Service was terrible. Nurse was rude. Unresponsive WhatsApp replies. Totally did not resolve my problem.

Dr. Kevin is one of the best ENT specialists in Singapore. He is extremely friendly and takes good care of his patients. His calm and kind nature always puts patients mind at ease. The clinic staff are very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful.

Great doctor, great staff. Staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Tried to provide as much details as possible. Doctor was eager to help me understand my condition and was very skilled in performing endoscopy. First time having a tube put inside my nose and I felt no discomfort. When it comes to the treatment it is a five star. I was been suffering from an infection with preauricular sinus pit for years. Had three unsuccessful operation ahead that leads my ear swelling once a month after the third operation had done. Thank you Dr. Soh, it is been four months post operation and the swelling and pain that I bare for years is gone and hopefully it is really gone. With about the payments we just got half of what we paid with the whole operation from my insurance as it is more higher than being operated here in an University Clinic. But as long as the whole pain and swelling would not come back I guess it is far fair. In regards with the medical assistants of Dr. Soh they are helpful and informative. Everyone is entitled to do a comment but sometimes people misunderstood the way other people communicate.... (Show more)

I must say thank you Dr Soh for demonstrating positive energy to my hubby who was initially hesitated to go for day operation. My hubby discovered there was growth in his nose and worried a lot whether the operation can enable him to be better or worse. He has been delayed this worry issue until we met Dr Soh who manage to connect my hubby by communicating lot of positive energy as my hubby was very scared and worrisome. Seeing him keep ensure my hubby not to worry too much and encouraged my hubby to focus on getting well instead of thinking too much without pushing him hard for operation which I immediately decided that he was the right person to be in charge of my hubby operation and everything. I have had sinus problem for decades & just resorted to the regular pills & nose sprays on & off. I put up with itchy eyes, head aches & poor quality sleep most of the time. Half year ago my nose got so blocked I couldn’t sleep at night. Time to seek help via surgery. My colleague recommended Dr Kevin Soh and I had a surgery done by Dr Soh. He and his staff are professional & caring. For those who have sinus problem due to structural issues, I suggest you get checked &/or undergo surgery by a specialist like Dr Soh. My first time there, after seeing the reviews. But I did not feel cared for, as Dr. Soh seemed to be in a rush, and I realized he left after my appointment. Also, within 10min of the appointment, proposed medication. I was not comfortable, without proper consultation, and I didn't feel unwell for the need of medication. When I declined, the engagement dropped. Lastly, I called for ear wax removal. Which was $150 per ear. After the appointment it was $150 consultation + $320 copy of the ear canal video recording (didn't even ask for it) + and the expected $150 x2 ear wax removal - they could have been explicit on the true total cost, upfront, and not at the end. I have been suffering from sinus infections for months and Dr Kevin Soh is one of the highly recommended ENT consultant by my family doctor. Dr Soh was very caring, accommodating and took pains to ensure that my work commitments are not disrupted after the sinus surgery and with the post surgery appointments. I got hoarse voice for about 3 months so decided to have a check at polyclinic on Dec 2018. However was referred to gov. specialist on Jan 2019. I thought nothing about it at first but the check on that day struck me. I was been shown a big red lump in between my throat and been told to have a ops to assess in details and going to lose my voice for two weeks. I was at total lost for weeks. Very lucky of me to meet Dr. Kelvin Soh who suggested a minor day surgery on my nose would most probably solve my problem, I had adoubts at first (my throat got problem why ops on my nose). Nevertheless, I agreed and ops was done in March and very delightful today as review and check have shown my throat in perfect condition, moreover I can even breathe better than before.
