Dr Michael Ryan
Michael received his dental degree in Trinity College in 1979. From then until 1992 he was principal and owner of a general dental practice in London. In 1992 he undertook a three-year specialty programme in orthodontics at the University of Illinois in Chicago, obtaining his Masters Degree there in 1995. Michael set up his specialist orthodontic practice in Dundrum in 1997 which provides top quality treatment using fixed braces and removable braces. In 2008 Michael was president of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland. He has also served on the Council of the Irish Dental Association. He is a member of the Irish Academy of America Graduate Dental Specialists and a fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Michael lives in Dundrum with his wife and two children.

Dr Joe Hennessy
Joe qualified as a dentist from Trinity College Dublin in 2008, obtaining a first class honors degree and winning the Sheldon Friel Prize for the overall highest grade in his final exams. He then worked for a year in the Dublin Dental Hospital as a House Surgeon before moving to work in private practice in Dublin for a further 18 months. Joe then moved to England where he worked for a year as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery in Chichester, West Sussex. To continue his career development he then worked for 6 months as a Community Dentist in Shewsbury, Shropshire. In 2012, Joe returned to Trinity College to complete a three-year orthodontic training programme. In 2015, he attained a Clinical Doctorate in Orthodontics from Trinity College and completed his membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.Joe enjoys all aspects of orthodontics and has carried out research involving treatment with Invisalign aligners. He is a member of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Ms Sabrina Finlay
Sabrina joined our practice in 2001. She provides clinical support for Michael and his patients throughout their treatment and is our main clinical photographer. Sabrina is up-to-date on the various orthodontic procedures. Her knowledge of Invisalign is second to none, as she has worn these aligners herself. She would be very happy to offer her unbiased view of this system. Sabrina, who comes from Rathfarnham, trained originally as a beauty therapist and worked in this field for 5 years before changing to orthodontics.

Ms Annette Marron
Annette has been part of our team since 2003. Prior to joining us, she worked as a dental surgery assistant in the UK for 2 years. Previous to this she lived in the Isle of Man and worked in the financial sector. Annette is our new patient co-ordinator, as well as providing clinical support and chairside assistance. Annette who grew up in Carrickmacross, has also lived and worked in Italy and Germany.

Ms Jane Grayson
Jane joined our practice in 2008. She has much experience in the area of dental care, having worked in a specialist prosthodontic practice as well as a general practice. Jane looks after finances, appointments and the day-to-day running of our practice. Jane, who comes from Dundrum, has a diploma in public relations.
I have attended the Dundrum Orthodontics for the past two years and have had nothing but great words to say about them: They have always been helpful and the results I have had are outstanding, and a big shout out to Imma who has always been available when I had any questions that I needed answered. I phoned with a broken bonded retainer and the team were so amazing and got me an appointment within 3 hours of ringing! They were so kind and I was so happy with the treatment - I had called 5 dentists before these who all had 7 week waiting times and a broken retainer can’t wait that long so I really appreciated the team at Dundrum for getting this fixed so quickly! 1000/10 would recommend to anyone!! 😃... My three children have been treated at Dundrum Orthodontics , one invisalign and two fixed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Ryan and his team. From the welcome from Carol at the front desk, to the first initial consultation with Dr Ryan , all the treatments and after care, it has been a most professional and wonderful ( I know hard to believe when we are talking about dentists but it was!)experience for both my kids and myself. The treatment options are explained fully including the costs which I must say where reasonable in the cases of both fixed and invisalign. Carol even contacted me when I had overpaid and had forgotten to cancel my DD. Unreal ! It is a very professsionally run practice and Dr Ryan is a fantastic Orthodentist. I recently started my Invisalign treatment with Dr Ciarán Devine. Ciarán’s caring nature and attention to detail was evident from the beginning of my treatment. I have been wanting to get my teeth straightened for quite a while but as I travel a lot with work, I thought it would not be possible to proceed. I’m so happy I’ve found an orthodontist who’s willing to schedule some of my invisaling appointments virtually. This flexibility of both in-surgery and online appointments is fantastic! I have just finished up my Invisalign treatment with Dr Adriana Haerber and I am beyond happy with the results. The treatment and attention I recieved from Adriana and team was beyond my expectations. She made me feel so welcomed and at ease at each check up. My jaw shifted slightly at the age of 47 leaving me with a very bad and uncomfortable bite. Eating was difficult at times as I could not chew food properly. I had quite low expectations when I went to see Dr. Ryan and the team but they couldn't have been more encouraging. I saw a jaw specialist, got my wisdom teeth out and spent a year in invisiline braces resulting in a great bite and straight teeth. You're never too old!... (Show more)
I 100% recommend Dundrum Orthodontist. I had a great experience and couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. The team were very professional and were so lovely.
Very unpleasant experience. Receptionist was rude on the phone. I wanted a retainer replacement. She booked me in for the wrong one and told me it would cost half the price of what it did. The Orthodontist was bullish when I simply said “oh this is not the same as what I had.” He did however offer to honour a replacement for free, when he realised the mistake made, if I wasn’t happy but poor internal communication & an unfriendly environment was the primary issue (excl. clinical staff who were lovely). Overall, I would not return and did not enjoy my expensive experience with an unsatisfactory outcome.... (Show more)
My daughter was under the care of Dr Ryan for over 4 1/2 years. Her bottom teeth were crowded and misaligned and her 2 canine teeth were buried in the back roof of her mouth. Dr Ryan explained all the options to us. She was very well cared for by the team, and to see her bottom teeth so beautifully aligned and watching the journey of her 2 canines making their way to the position nature had intended, was awe-inspiring. We were given a price at the start of treatment that did not change over time, irrespective of the number of visits needed to complete the treatment. Thank you for her beautiful smile!... (Show more)

I had an amazing experience with my Invisalign in Dundrum Orthodontics. Michael Ryan is an incredible orthodontist, and I am so delighted with my Invisalign results. Carol on reception is so friendly and provides a warm welcome each time I visit. Imma, Sabrina and Adriana are lovely girls, and an absolute pleasure to deal with at every appointment.
