Bad experience. I made an appointment with Luis Daniel Quesada, a gastroenterologist, and I arrived 20 minutes before the appointment and an hour after the agreed time he still hadn't shown up. I thought that paying would save me the bad time that happens at CCSS appointments but it's the same. He is a specialist even in making me look bad, well I can't judge his work, because it seemed disrespectful to make me wait so long and I left. Bad experience and information for patients. The surgery was scheduled for 1 pm and in the end it was supposed to be at 5 pm. An outpatient surgery and at 10 pm relatives call to ask for information, since they do not allow anyone other than the patient to enter, and unfortunately the policy is not to give information about the patient, the same patient at the time I managed to be conscious must call to family members. FATAL. Calling all day to reach a colleague's secretary, only to be told after at least 8 calls (and the time involved in waiting) that she is not here today!

The service is super slow for the amount you pay. It is unacceptable that it takes 1 hour to serve 3 people at checkouts.

The hospital has quite a few specialties and they have equipment to perform various medical procedures but for what they charge, the call center and communication system with the doctors is terrible. After attending a consultation twice, having paid good money for each one, I have been trying to contact a specialist for a month now so that he can give me the prescription for the treatment he sent me and there has been no way and the times I have called they tell me that There he is in the office but he doesn't answer calls or messages or emails and I leave messages with the call center and with the secretary and nothing. Dr. Linda Liu was a disciple of my Doctor (who treated me for 45 years). I am a 59-year-old woman and I have been to this Doctor twice. At this second appointment, I went in to make arrangements for bladder and incontinence surgery. I found that she lacks more organization and being more executive to respond to patients' messages, especially when there is an already established date for the operation and an exam that she needs to do before operating (on a Saturday). There were so many changes and few responses from her that I had to give up having surgery with Dr. Linda Liu. As a gynecologist and obstetrician she may be very good, but her Master was such an organized and detailed man that I never saw myself in these entanglements. It is unprofessional to pay for an emergency service and be told that you have to wait at least 1 hour for a specialist to see you. The specialists had no complaints but the rest of the employees were completely delayed, not even the CCSS dared to spend so much 4 hours to see some plates and have your exit even to pay, they are a tortoise.... Great service! The noise of this hospital is beyond comprehension. The workers and nurses talk so loud about their personal affairs and christmast plans! In this sense is very unprofessional. They also had building workers inside the emergency area too, adding to the unconfort.The least a patient in pain wants to hear is unnecessary noise... Other than that it is a Greta place.... Terrible customer service, we arrived on November 4 at 8:00 pm with a 2-year-old baby with a temperature in the emergency room and took a card for a system that they were not using. We waited half an hour while the receptionists talked and after they finished talking, they consulted which patients were missing data collection. After they took our data, we quickly went to the infirmary and then to the pediatrician. From there everything flowed excellently until in the end, after the consultation, we had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for them to pass the insurance bill to pay and leave. I had surgery on the arm referred to me by the INS, the treatment was beautiful, I didn't even realize the surgery, everyone was very attentive, it was incredible!

Super good service, very attentive and agile in the procedures. I have already been a couple of times for primary medical care and laboratory exams and the process is very fast, the facilities are in very good condition and not to mention the customer service from the guards to the doctors.

A horrible experience... I arrived there with a severe stomach pain, after some blood tests they told me that I had an infection... They hospitalized me... Then they did an ultrasound telling me that I had an intestinal intussusception (very serious).. I was very scared... After hours they did a CT scan of my intestine, I no longer had an intestinal intussusception... but diverticula... Still very serious... I left there distrustful and with a bill of 1,400 to pay. The secretaries of sector 4 only mock and hesitate, they look very irresponsible in front of sick patients, they should hire more serious people. Staff like this make you look bad

It didn't seem right to me that the nurse took a photo of my father (an older adult) of his injury without his consent. Other employees with their cell phones watching and commenting on photos and videos of entertainment.
