Horrible staff in the basement is the worst I have ever seen, they are poorly educated and rude along with some doctors who perform studies such as sonography, I took my 13 year old daughter for the first time to have one that the pediatrician told her to do and that lady was very rude, surely not He has children and it took almost a month to deliver it to me. I did it on January 25 and today I went because they made an appointment for me to deliver the results and it took me 45 minutes to wait and the young woman at the reception in the basement told me that there was a delay with that one and she was gone to have a snack. It’s not the first time that we go to Hospiten and wait for hours. It seems that in DR doctors are used to getting away with the unprofessional behavior of letting the patients wait for hours. We went to see Doctor Leidy Laura González Arias. Our appointment was for 2:00 o’clock. We arrived around 1:25 pm to check in. They made us wait over half an hour to see this doctor. As we waited, she passed by the lobby and left! As I communicated my disappointment to a receptionist, we were assigned to see Doctor Luisa de la Rosa. Yet, we continued waiting to see her. When we waited for over 20 minutes, we inquired about the delay for seeing the doctor, since it was past 3:00 o’clock. One of doctor de la Rosa’s assistant informed us that she left for lunch. At this point, I communicated my disappointment and concerns regarding the professionalism of the doctors at Hospiten, since it is a common practice to make the patients wait for hours. After 8 minutes Doctor de la Rosa showed up claiming that she was escorting out a patient from her office, whom did not feel well. However, we saw her when she was stepping out of her office and there was no one accompanying her. It seems quite clear that doctors in Hospiten have not respect for their patients’ tome. Most of all, and worse yet, they lack professional responsibility. I don’t recommend Hospiten. I spoke with several patients as I was waiting and they told that it was a common practice for doctors to make their patients wait for hours and to leave for the day without telling their patients. In addition, should you go to this hospital for an electroencephalogram, electrocardiography or echocardiogram prepare yourself to wait for days to get the results. The implementation of the new appointment system is extremely inefficient, after getting my appointment at the kiosk I waited more than 60 minutes before being called to checkout, I confirmed with my doctor later that during that time, he was in the office, without waiting patients. Excellent human service at Hospiten Santo Domingo and unmatched facilities. My experience in Punta Cana at the emergency level was terrible.

Excellent medical center, they only need to improve the billing area because I suggest that it be by shift with a ticket, not by line.

Terrible attention, we waited more than two hours with my 5-year-old daughter for a brain concussion CT scan, babies waiting for hours, chaos, few medical staff. Hospiten has highly qualified staff who live up to any expectations, I am very happy to put my health in their hands.

Terrible service! They changed my shift without telling me that it would be the last and I waited 2 and a half hours, and in the end I decided to leave because they attended to everyone who arrived after me before me. Customer service is horrible. The employees speak in a bad tone to the patients.

I classify it as a good health center, it has its weaknesses like everyone else, but nothing that cannot be improved. I recommend it 100%.

Excellent service, facilities. I love the efficiency with which they serve, the mobile application is a pain because I make all my appointments that way.
