Dr Vicky Ho
Dr Vicky Ho graduated in 1993 from the University of Western Australia, receiving honourable prizes for Best Student in her year for Preventive dentistry and Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery. She has been studying and restoring Dental Implants since her very first implantology courses in 1994. She has since furthered her education by attending numerous post-graduate training courses including world renowned courses from the prestigious LAS VEGAS INSTITUTE, the world’s leading centre for Cosmetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry. She then furthered her career on Treatment of TMJ disorders with Dr Clayton Chan from Occlusion Connections in the USA to treat people suffering from a life time of pain from persistent headaches, neck pain and joint symptoms. She was awarded a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2012. Recently in 2015, she graduated Loma Linda University with a gIDE Master Clinician in Implant Surgery. She was selected to represent Australia to present her case study in front of a World Symposium in Los Angeles in September 2015 and received the top prize in Australia in her Post Graduate gIDE Master Clinician Course in Implant Surgery, and selected amongst the top 10 clinicians in the world for her results and achievements.

I graduated as a Dentist and previously lived in the USA where I worked as a Dental Assistant for 6 years. I relocated to Australia in 2013 and have recently joined the team at Dr. Vicky’s Smile Design Studio in Mosman Park. We share the same passion, to change peoples lives through their smiles.

I have been in the dental industry for around 8 years. I am originally from NSW where I worked at one of the busiest orthodontic clinics – until I moved to Perth 3yrs ago. When I was looking for a new experience I never expected such a wonderful change! Dr Ho is extremely passionate about what she does, and the quality of her work is second to none. I feel extremely fortunate to be part of a team who is efficient and so caring.
I was referred to Smile design studio by a friend after suffering dental injuries from a traumatic sporting accident. Dr. Vicky was very thorough in her assessments, explanations and execution of my treatment. Her friendly and welcoming demeanour made the process much less daunting. Also, I found communicating with the team to organise appointments was easy and hassle free. I am very happy with the finished product. My smile is even better than before the accident! Dr Vicki is the absolute best! I don’t know what I would’ve have done without her . I came in with ear pain, headaches and more because TMJ , In such a short time I’m already seeing results. The best dentist I have ever been to hands down, Both Vicky, Rita and the whole team were so friendly and gave honest and insightful advice for my dental hygiene and health. Dr Vicky within an hour was able to solve a problem that many other dentists hadn’t been able to in the last 5 years, her attention to detail is second to none and as soon as you enter her clinic you get a sense of the pride she has in her work and how much she cares for her clients. Earlier this year I decided to treat myself to a smile makeover. I’d seen Vicky’s work first hand as I’ve worked alongside her doing Sedations as a Registered Nurse. I chose Vicky and her team because they were always kind and gentle with the most nervous of patients as well as producing exceptionally beautiful results. Vicky and her team gently coaxed me, as a nervous patient through the process. I started out terrified of “Dentists”, and by the end of the process, I was practically falling asleep in the chair I was so relaxed. Like anything that alters your looks, it is a process with ups and downs. Especially in these Covid times. But the entire team from Heidi on the front desk, Leni the “gentlest hygienist”, to Vicky and Sally at the the business end, made me feel important and valued at all times. I have actually really enjoyed the experience and I now have an amazing new smile to show off. All I want to do now is smile all the time- which can’t be a bad thing!! I’m so appreciative to everyone at Smile Design and especially Vicky, for giving my confidence an extra boost and making me feel beautiful again.... (Show more)
I went to see Dr Vicky because of constant clenching, jaw and facial pain. Opted for the more holistic way of getting my pain sorted, which was to get an orthotic created to help my jaw and facial pain. Ever since using the orthotic, all my pains have gone and I'm seriously loving it. It was a really great experience at smile design studio. All the staffs are really friendly and helpful throughout my appointments. A much preferred and drug free way to sort out TMJ pain instead of Botox injections 6 monthly. Also Botox was not encouraged as I was going through fertility treatments. Cannot thank everyone at smile design studio enough! You've given me a 2nd chance in my life to be able to eat and chew normally like everyone else. Definitely recommend a consult to get information and make a decision on what suits yourself best! I had such a positive experience with Dr Vicky! From the first appointment I was given all the information to make my own choices about treatment options. At every appointment she ensured I was happy with how treatment was progressing. It was very easy to trust her to help me achieve what I was looking for. Most importantly though, Dr Vicky and her staff create such a great atmosphere, and every visit felt like going for a catch up with friends. Vicky and the team at smile design studio have been absolutely fantastic, kind and caring. I went to Vicky after being self-conscious of my teeth for years. She made me feel at ease and walked me through the process of getting veneers for my top and bottom teeth. I’ve had 2 yrs of Invisalign treatment, teeth whitening and a couple of veneers done by Dr Vicky, and am so happy with my experience and results. Dr Vicky and the whole team are so friendly and helpful, I can’t recommend them enough!
Dr Vicky is an incredible dentist, with a lovely team. Coming in has always been a pleasure - Vicky is exceptionally gentle, understanding and great at making you feel at home. Never have I felt relaxed at a dentist before. Very happy with my smile, highly recommend seeing Dr Vicky!
The Smile Design studio simply changed my life for the better. One is never fully dressed without a smile. Being a jazz singer, I often have my picture taken. In the past I would always be self conscious, however, after a little aesthetic work done on my teeth by Dr Vicky Ho, I am now a broad smiling jazz performer and I no longer shy away from the photographers. Dr Vicky, Heidy & her team are phenomenal . I had the worst dental experiences so when I came to Vicky my anxiety was so bad. But after my first treatment I decided not to use sedation because I was so calm 🥳 She & her staff are incredibly professional & caring. I 123445566679% recommended Dr Vicky. Broke my bottom two front teeth from a collision in basketball and contacted Dr. Vicky Ho. An appointment was organised for two days later (first available appointment) and my teeth were repaired swiftly and to a high standard.
