Dr Bill Papanastasiou
After graduating from McGill Medical School in Montreal, in 1979, he embarked on specialty training in plastic surgery and obtained his specialist certification in 1986. During his residency in plastic surgery he also obtained a Master of Science degree for his research work in microvascular surgery. Throughout his career he has endeavored to be on the cutting edge of innovation and technology in his field. In 1989, he was the first to perform syringe liposculpture in the McGill system. Then, in 1995, he was the first in Montreal to perform endoscopic breast implant surgery through a tiny incision in the underarm. Most recently he has introduced the revolutionary laser assisted Smartlipo™ to the Montreal market. He is a member of numerous professional societies and holds an academic position as Clinical Lecturer at McGill, teaching medical students and plastic surgery residents. He also teaches his surgical techniques to other visiting plastic surgeons and has lectured both in Montreal and throughout the world as well as being frequently featured in the media. He specializes in all aspects of cosmetic surgery including the face, breasts and body sculpting. His goal as a plastic surgeon has always been simple and straight-forward: to deliver the best possible results with the smallest scars and the least amount of discomfort to the patient. Known for his perfectionism and unwavering attention to detail, he prides himself not only on his surgical skills, but also on the personalized, thorough postoperative care for each and every patient.
Mrs Michelle Deskin
She is a registered nurse who obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ottawa University. She has been in practice for ten years and has been on staff at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal and the Montreal General Hospital. Over the past five years she has been involved exclusively in the field of plastic surgery and now specializes in facial rejuvenation injection techniques. She has undergone intensive training in injection techniques directly supervised by Dr Papanastasiou and the training staff of Allergan (the makers of Medicis (the makers of ). She received one of the highest evaluations in the province of Quebec! Always on the lookout for new techniques, she keeps up to date by attending all major seminars dealing with injectibles and has acquired a solid reputation in Montreal and throughout the Province of Québec for obtaining superb results and facial enhancements in all our patients. She has been working with Dr. Papanastasiou since the opening of his plastic surgery facility in Montreal in 1995. With over 16 years’ experience in all aspects of cosmetic surgery, she has a wealth of information, which she is happy to share with anyone who asks and therefore help to guide you. Her goal, as the practice director, is to ensure that you obtain any and all information required in order to facilitate your decision regarding your procedure. She is also responsible for the organization of Dr Papanastasiou’s surgical and injection schedules, ensuring that proper staff is on hand to take care of you. The "consultation" with Dr Papanastasiou lasted less than 10 min. I had to pull the words out of him, could have find more information online. I paid 200$ for nothing and felt like I've been scammed. No wonder that there was no waiting time to book an appointment with him.
I had the best experience with Dr. Papanastasiou and his staff about 10 years ago. They are friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Papanastasiou as a gentle touch and a very caring personality, I felt very safe and cared for in his hands and have since referred two of my friends for procedures as well. He is know for his natural, quality work. Always do your research and go with who you feel is best but I personally highly recommend Dr. Papanastasiou and his staff and even though I have since moved to Toronto, I will go back to Montreal for any future procedures.... Best clinic! Dr. P really listens to your needs and your comfort. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at ease. And the results are fantastic!
I do not recommend this clinic any support. no real sympathy.
i do not recommend a rhinoplastie there, they ask for a Covid test i did mine & results where positive i had to postpone operation.. on the day of operation Dr walks in the room asking me why i postponed ?!!absolutely no support during healing, no real explanation of recovery ,totaly left alone .. when my cast was removed doctor was not there, young nurse did not clean my nose and was a real snob i guess If you look rich you will probably get a better service. but most importantly I came in to fix a problem and now i have a new one. uneven nostril.. one higher for life..... From the first time I met Dr. P , I knew he was the one I can trust. Contrary to the other consultations I had, Dr P listened to me first, and with much attention. Never did he try to sell me more than I asked for. In fact, he discouraged me from a doing another area I wanted to correct. I must have asked 50 questions and he answered them all, allocating me the time I needed and not feeling rushed to leave his office. I was explained every step that would be taken throughout this journey; both by Dr. P and his staff. The staff and nurses took care of me pre-and post Op. I never felt any abandonment after the surgeries. I could reach them very easily when I needed to. I am extremely happy to have chosen Dr P; no regrets. I had two surgeries within a three month period. He most definitely delivered what he said he would and in both surgeries. I was moving recently and came across my receipt for my breast augmentation 29 years ago!!!! At 26 I had my daughter and she was 3 and done breast feeding but my breasts look like they were 70! Keep in mind, I'm in the United States not Canada. So I traveled! When I walked into the office I knew I was in the right place. It was beautiful and clean. The staff made me feel comfortable immediately. They continued to show nothing but compassion and professionalism even after everything was done. Dr Papanastasio was amazing. He answered all my questions then made his suggestions. He suggested a lift. I refused. He said they would be consequences of possible and unusual sagging later in life. I didn't care. Dr. Papanastasiou and his staff were extremely professional and patient in their care of me. They answered all of my questions and really spent time covering all aspects of the surgery. Dr. P is extremely skilled at what he does. I did a tummy tuck, and was extremely impressed with the results and it’s only been a week! My stomach is a still swollen but completely flat! Im almost 2 months post op. I chose to have surgery at Dr P's clinic following a friend's recommandation. O M G am I happy to have listened to her!!! The whole staff were attentive, kind and helpful.
