Dr. Thomas Herms - Florence

I went on a vacation to Italy and on the flight into Florence I sat in a very awkward position on the plane to help my small child be comfortable and sleep. A day or so later I could hardly bend over or lift my legs bc my lower back was in excruciating pain. I thought I had a pinched nerve. My husband had to help me out of bed and put my socks and shoes on. I didn't want to ruin our family vacation so I looked up Doc Thomas and he was able to see me that day! A 20 min walk to his house took me 45mins… He was very professional and I totally trusted his knowledge to help me. After the adjustment I was able to put my own shoes on, bend over (slight pain but not like it was) and he said give it 3 days. That evening we walked around town and next day I could already tell I was on the mend! And amazingly by the third day, like he said, I was bending over with no pain but just a slight tightness. London chiropractic graduate here, just finished my studies. Had a very eye opening experience with this chiropractor. Very knowledgable, was a doctor who then did chiropractic and has now done further work in neurology, connections with the brain, nervous system and the ripple effects it has. Also incorporates other theories from osteopathy and more. He can not only treat your surface level pain, but also come to a good conclusion & explain what is causing that, how to fix it for the direct root, or at least if it incurable how to manage and reduce the pain or side effects that come with the initial root cause. Highly would recommend, he is in top 3 best chiropractor I have encountered and been in contact with. I had a persistent problem with my left Achilles tendon for about 2 years that no professional had been able to resolve. The last consultations even suggested a scraping surgery... Until I met Dr Herms! Despite the difficulties he directed me on the right path and after a short time I was significantly better until I recovered. It solved my problem, a recurring pain in my lower back that sometimes prevented me from walking. He is clear and efficient and listens to what the problems are. A good professional, I highly recommend him.

He's not a real chiropractor, he's just a general practitioner. Be wary, go to the chiropratica.it website, he's an all-rounder, avoid people who feel like God.
