I got several glasses from them for me and my family since 2018. Great eye doctors, they are excellent. The staff are very nice, helpful and supportive. Great services, warranties and supports. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Mithani is our family optometrist. He is very caring and thorough. The staff are nice as well. Overall great experience every time.

In the beginning, I had a great experience with my optometrist. She was clear and explained everything I had. The process of getting my lenses was tough, however, the answer and support received by Dr. Mithani helped me to receive my lenses fast.

Didn’t like the collection, and staff also does not show much energy to try and understand your needs.

I went there today for eye exam, it was my first visit, the staff were welcoming and friendly and Dr.Fayaz was fabulous. He is accurate and explains details which is very important. I really recommend this center to everyone.

I had a difficult experience at first but was contacted by Dr. Karim Mithani. He was really kind and listened....but most importantly helped me work through the issue and I was able to get the referral I needed for my daughter.

I always have a great experience here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and my daughter felt so comfortable with Dr Mithani during her first eye exam. I highly recommend this place!

If you have complex or highly-technical vision-care requirements, have tried but were unhappy with progressive lenses, have paid lots for lenses and find you still cannot see well--especially if you have not been able to find a solution to see clearly while performing overhead work--you need to consult Dr. Mithani and his associates at Coquitlam Optometry. Dr. Mithani was recommended to me by my ophthalmologist's office, and my family have been clients since Dec. 2021. I had written a much longer review but here is the version that fits in Google Maps' character limitation: We have experienced excellent care from Claudia (office administrator), Dr. Mithani, Sam (optician), Dr. Atwal and Dr. Krajnyak. The doctors are extremely thorough, knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. We have not had an appointment with Dr. Ravji yet, but he is also very pleasant and we look forward to being seen by him in the future. I don't know of any other clinic that would invite a patient to come in outside of regular hours to work on unusual pairs of eyeglasses, and I have not met another optician so eager to teach his clients all about how corrective lenses are specified, designed and made--Sam believes, in his words, that "information should be free." For my work, I needed "plumber's bifocals" but with progressive rather than abrupt change. Sam used to be in an engineering field and together we created inverted progressives, manufacturable using standard progressive grinding programs--they work awesomely! Rarely do I encounter people who are entirely forthcoming, considerate, take time to do things right (re-measuring eyes and remaking lenses if needed at no additional cost), and treat me as a partner in our dealings; such has been my extraordinary experiences at Coquitlam Optometry Centre. We have also had medically-necessary eye examinations (annual senior's recall, posterior vitreous detachment) with the optometrists and mentioned them during recent visits to our family doctor. Our doctor requested consultation reports be sent to her office, and all I had to do was e-mail Coquitlam Optometry and they promptly faxed the reports. I highly recommend Coquitlam Optometry Centre, I’ve been going there for 30 years, and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly & welcoming. Dr Mithani is my main eye doctor and he is amazing… thorough, gives detailed information in an easy to understand manner. I recently had an urgent issue come up and was examined by Dr Krajnyak. I have been going to see Dr. Mithani for over 8 years now, and will never go anywhere else! He is extremely thorough, has a reasonable exam fee, and he seems to be really up to date with his technology in the office. His eye exam prescriptions are always on par and he always take times to explain the health of my eyes to me after the exam (he really seems to care about his patients.) Leaving the exam room and entering the hands of the opticians was too, a wonderful experience. They seem to know everything and anything about lenses, glasses, contacts and anything else I want to know about, and are able to explain it in layman terms so that even I feel like an optician! They always manage to find me a phenomenal pair of glasses and just the right lenses so that I don't end up with coke bottles (I have a high prescription.) And heck, their prices are always great, and they deal with my insurance company directly (bonus!) Thanks Coquitlam Optometry Centre - you have a client for life!... (Show more)

I was charged with ~170 for an eye exam and later I found out I was only provided with a sight test. It'd be great to know the cost beforehand and I'm curious how much others have paid...

Best experience with an optometrist and buying glasses! I'm a bit anxious about medical/eye appointments and thankfully Coquitlam Optometry ended up being the perfect choice. Every person I spoke to was helpful and kind. The eye exam was thorough and explained to me in plain language. Dr. Avneet Atwal was both professional and patient. She made it easy and I felt confident by the end of the appointment. Highly recommend! I had a pair of glasses picked out online, but Sam was the one who helped me find something even better in store. There's a good selection and they even have LOCALLY DESIGNED glasses! They were exactly right and a great price. Sam explained fit and pointed out styles that looked great and would be suitable for my prescription. I couldn't decide on my 2nd pair so he encouraged me to go home and think about it. I have and can't wait to order them when I pick up my first pair!... (Show more)

Dr. Karim Mithani was super nice and efficient. I had a very painful scratch on the cornea of my eye. Made the appointment same day was 45 minutes early. They got me right in and out within 30 minutes. The prices were very reasonable. The staff was nice and pleasant as well. I will definitely be going back for routine care.... (Show more)

Do not recommend for children! The doctor who saw my son for the first time was impatient, rude, and grumpy. His bedside manner was horrible. Like I said it was my sons first time seeing this doctor and like any child he needed a bit of patience and understanding during the exam.
