Dr Robert Finch MBBS (Qld) FRACS is a General and Upper Gastrointestinal Hepatobiliary Surgeon based in Brisbane, Queensland. Dr Finch is a consultant surgeon at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. He is a visiting surgeon at a number of private hospitals including the Holy Spirit Northside Hospital, St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and the Wesley Hospital. He is chairman of the morbidity and mortality committee and a clinical supervisor at the RBWH. He has a university appointment at the University of Queensland as a clinical lecturer in surgery and is actively involved in teaching medical students, junior doctors and surgical trainees.
Dr Robert Finch is an amazing surgeon/specialist, and such a lovely man. If you have any concerns he will answer your questions, and put you at ease. Without Rob I wouldn't be here today. What I particularly like about him is that he is so down to earth, and so dedicated to his profession, and genuinely cares about all his patients He talks to you on a first name basis, and seems to expect the same from you.... Highly recommend, great communication.
Dr Finch and his team are exceptional, they have far exceeded my expectations and I now feel the best I have in my adult life. The only regret that I have is I wish I had done this Gastric Bypass Surgery 10 years earlier. If you want a Dr that genuinely cares for his patients look no further as you will not be disappointed. Dr Finch performed my surgery, everything went very well. Dr Finch is extremely professional, explains everything very well, makes you feel at ease. Could not recommend him enough.
