To damn rude
Worst Service Ever!! How do people survive in UK with this!! Someone has to change this system!!! Everyone is lazy in there and 2 doctors for 50+ people?!? Where’s my tax money going?? They feed people with anything and take days to be attended!!! Shame on everyone at AE!!
I was 13 years ago went eye and couldn't get good deals eye check first for delivery be done.
I attended my yearly check up at the medical outpatient department and the staff were polite and welcoming. My consultant was friendly and attentive, as always. While at the hospital other members of staff would say good morning! I’ve spent a lot of time at NGH over the years, for myself and my awesome son and I’ve always said everyone we met there, we’re always polite, friendly, respectful and supportive. The pressure they are under but they never forget their manners! First Class.🏆⭐️... (Show more)
Waited in 111 out of hours for an hour, sent to ane for 4 hours just to be told they couldn’t help at that time
Worst system in the world. If you go to A&E make sure to bring a tent and an ultimate survival kit and be prepared for a “normal” 6h wait with a baby or child. For general hospital you need to book 2 years in advance for anything just in case you will be ill in the future. Otherwise, you might be dead by the time you get in front of the queue. Luckily there are cheat codes too to be seen quicker, either you get cancer or be half dead. You’re welcome.... (Show more)
One of the worst hospitals I have ever been to. The wait times are unacceptable and the level of organisation is some of the worst I've seen at any hospital. Non of my partners notes were passed on to the relevant departments even after 24 hours. She's been in chronic pain and constant bleeding. There is a an insane amount of staff passing on the buck to others and the crappy little hut outside of the a&E department is a joke with a rude nurse blasting dance music and talking at full volume talking as loud as possible with intimate information about my partner and also not allowing her to close the door so no one else in the lobby could hear. I had to walk up and slam the door shut to make a point of it. We've since lefts and gone to lister hospital where the waiting times to be seen to have come down from 3 hours to 15 mins and way more professional. Id honesty rather drop dead than be treated at Northampton... (Show more)
Had to attend AandE Excellent speedy service
Good but parking was awful
The 1 star is for the nurses only, as for my treatment by a Gynaecologist and co with their procedures done on me without pain relief was disgraceful and I never want to ever go there again.
My husband has been going to see Mr Tomlinson for about 5 years in Neurology department Mr Tomlinson is very professional friendly always takes time with my husband in his busy clinic on Tuesdays we want to say thankyou to him
I couldn't criticise the place based on my most recent visit.
Very poor service doctor keep talking
If you can, try go to other hospital. I am literally shocked, general doctors at a&e has lack of knowledge, i was given paracetamol and suggested to google the symptoms. I have no idea how they getting graduated at medical school. Arrived to hospital at 9pm 1 doctor at a&e only 6 patients were in the queue Average waiting time 2h... (Show more)
My son is in the middle of treatment at this fantastic hospital. We cannot fault the service we have received- every appointment, test and scan he has had has been scheduled within 2 or 3 days and although we were told results might take up to 2 weeks we have received them within days. Staff have been friendly and caring. As his mum I have been so impressed. Thank you Northampton General.... (Show more)
I had a good experience with doctor but car parking was a nightmare people getting very hot under the collar. I was just lucky but there was not enough parking for the amount of visitors. I made my appointment after driving around and waiting for people to go. I have never experienced this before at Northampton and would be interested to know what the hospital will do.... (Show more)
Appalling hospital, if you can get to Kettering, go there! The treatment, judgement and discrimination I have received over many years is disgusting. I know the treatment you will receive depends on who you see, and sometimes its better than others. However there is a reoccurring theme with NGH of lack of awareness for mental health issues. When staff sit on the nurses station bad mouthing a patient who has attempted on their life, it makes a person there with mental health issue themselves, not want to stay. Badly organised, inattentive and horrible. The best people in that hospital are the volunteers and the HCAs, they are the ones that are the most caring and empathetic on the whole. If you can go to Kettering over Northampton please do.... (Show more)
The service you get in the hospital is unreal you get treated so differently when I attended A&E the wait time was unbearable that some people where getting annoyed and leaving as they were getting fed up. They do need to sort the car parking out omg the parking is unreal they have put in a multi car park for staff and that was empty where that empty space can be used for people attending hospital appointments or visiting there loved ones... The hospital itself is great and the staff excellent. The biggest issue is parking. All wards visiting is at the same block of 2 hours so the limited amount of space is highlighted dramatically. I won't complain about the cost because it is comparable to council run car parks. It's just too small!!
My mum died of COVID she caught on Creaton ward. PTS with COVID walking around the ward with no masks on. Staff just kept saying they are following govt guidelines and they can't force people who have COVID to wear masks as it's against human rights. What about the human rights of vulnerable patients on the wards. Infection control policy is not fit for purpose. Staff don't treat patients as individuals and they don't care about their patients. As long as they are seen to be following guidelines. Absolutely disgusted by staffs attitudes... (Show more)
