Dr Cassim is charismatic and very kind to patients as well as his staff. He goes out of his way to inform one about their procedure- he walked me carefully through my treatment plan and answered every question that I had. While doing my filling- he was talking the whole time which really helped because it psychologically takes your mind off of what is happening in your mouth. He has a lot of stories- such a delight to listen to. I am 7 hours post my filing- I feel great. I will provide another review after my last treatment-I have 4 more treatments to go. Terrible experience for a potential first time customer. Didn't even get to see the dr. The poor service made me leave before I wasted more time. When I confirmed my booking this morning it wasn't even updated. It was still for tomorrow. After already waiting 20 minutes the dr proceeded to take a patient that didn't even have an appointment. Whats the point of making the effort to make an appointment then. As a potential new patient through my medical aid this should not be a preferred practitioner on their list as the practice don't care about medical aid customers. Paying no appointment customers gets preference anyway. Poor first time experience, would not recommend this practice at all.... (Show more)

Dr. Cassim is professional, thorough and passionate about his work. I have been visiting his practice for years and highly recommend his services. I always feel well informed of the treatment I will receive, how to care for my teeth and what to expect when claiming from my medical aid. During Lockdown he made an effort to assist me with an emergency Wisdom tooth extraction..It was quick and swift...i cant say it took more than an hour after the initial numbing of my mouth...which he made sure it was numb before he started...He went an extra mile to explain what to expect before..during and after procedure and assured me will be of assistance if needed on whatsapp to make sure eveything went smoothly....Prices are not cheap like any other dental work...cost me abt 2.5 for all...consult..eextraction and stitches...he gave me a quick summary around my teeth structure and so i will certainly go back after lockdown... Great experience with Dr. Cassim. He is a friendly and fantastic dentist. Checks patient comfort, explains work thoroughly, gives advice and thorough overview of your dental condition. No issues with medical aid payment.

The best experience I have had by far, especially because I have a phobia for dentist visits. Procedures are painless and they ensure that you always feel super comfortable with every visit. Facilities are also very clean and stylish.

I went to Dr Cassim to get a wisdom tooth removed 1. My appointment was for 2 pm he saw me at 3 pm 2. He immediately encouraged me to do an X-Ray which costed R900.00 (not covered by my medical aid ) and another X-Ray which was covered by my medical aid. 3. After he got his money and did the X-Ray he sent me home without doing a clean because he wanted to attend to another patient. For this appointment I was charged R70.00 for sterilization of apparatus 4. Even though they did not do the clean they charged my medical aid for it and told me that I should come do it in my next appointment 5. In my 2nd appointment he filled 3 of my teeth unrelated to the reason I came to him in the first place and no cleaning was done , in this appointment I was again charged R70.00 for sterilization of apparatus 5. In my 3rd appointment he filled 1 tooth again unrelated to the reason I came to him in the first place and again he still did not do the clean, when I asked about it I was told that it would be done in the next appointment. I was again charged R70.00 for sterilization of apparatus 6. I was told that I would be contacted for my next appointment and after 3 weeks of waiting I finally realized that Dr Cassim and his receptionist are extremely unprofessional 7. I contacted the receptionist to find out when my next appointment is, they left me hanging 8. So basically: - I visited the dentist 3 times they charged me 70 rand for each appointment - 1st appointment, for a wisdom tooth removal instead they only did two X-Rays - 2nd appointment filled three - 3rd appointment filled one tooth 9. I Contacted them many times and asked them to reverse the charge for the clean, so that i could do it somewhere else, I was left hanging for months 10 . Dr Cassim should be reminded of an important part of the Hippocratic Oath that he took "That in my relations with patients, colleagues and others I will conduct myself with dignity as becomes a member of an honourable profession. Dr Cassim is by far the best dentist that I've used. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and the procedure was painless. The fees are extremely reasonable for the work done and his knowledge is impeccable.
