Dr. Med. Paul J. Edelmann

I wanted to make another appointment with Dr. Edelmann in the near future. Unfortunately, as I have now read, he died suddenly in February. Dr. Edelmann was not only an excellent surgeon, but also a very likeable person. Very sad that he died so early.

At the end of June 2020, I underwent an upper eyelid lift and a breast lift as a combined operation with Dr. Edelmann... and I have to say it was the best decision I could have made... and my only regret is that I didn't have it done much earlier... I will comment on the breast lift in a separate, later review, as the healing process will probably take a little longer and I will have to be patient (which is not that easy :-) Now about the upper eyelid lift: The consultation was very pleasant and uncomplicated, and Dr. Edelmann is unbeatable...that lightens up the situation immensely...I quickly gained trust, which is due to his decades of experience in the field of plastic surgery and his person... Another absolutely positive thing to mention is that it is even possible to get appointments on Saturdays for consultations and aftercare...! Twilight sleep is absolutely pleasant, painless... you feel wide awake and fit, and can even talk to the doctor and the operating room nurse... After the operation you are looked after very carefully, you order food from an Italian restaurant, you feel more like you are in a hotel than in a hospital... and yet there is always someone there around the clock... absolutely great! The aftercare is also great, Mr. and Mrs. Edelmann are available at any time, you just feel like you are in good hands! The healing process went smoothly, and now...8 weeks after the operation, the field of vision is noticeably expanded, the eyes appear larger and brighter, the whole face is more awake...a great, new attitude to life... Breast enlargement from A to C Dr Edelmann gave me very good advice. The operation went flawlessly. During twilight sleep sedation, Mentor saline implants were placed under my pectoral muscle (425cc each). After the operation I was put in my single room and was very well looked after by the nurses. The next morning Dr Edelmann came to check on me and have the drainage drained, then I could go home. In the first week the pain was very severe but was bearable with the prescribed painkillers. I had a breast reduction in June 2020 with Mr. Dr. Let nobleman do it. From F cup to DD The consultation with Ms. Edelmann (taking patient files) and then with Dr. Edelmann was very pleasant and all my questions were answered professionally and with patience. The appointment was made immediately after the consultation, which I personally found very pleasant. On the morning of the operation I was warmly welcomed by the nurses on the ward and taken to my private room. After Dr. When Edelmann greeted me in the morning and prepared me for the operation, I was led into the operating room. There I was put into a twilight sleep. Personally, I would not choose this type of anesthesia again as I was very nervous and felt like I couldn't relax during the operation. Dr. Edelmann is a very competent specialist. The other nurses and secretary are always friendly and competent. My first request for an operation for a mastectomy due to transsexuality was quickly arranged for an appointment for me, even possible on Saturdays. Discussion was very helpful. The surgical procedure was chosen so that little to no scars could be seen. Information for the OP was also sent again via email. Anesthesia was local, there was a good mood before the operation, the mood was lightened by jokes and questions about hobbies. Inpatient for one day after the operation. The sisters and Mr. Edelmann himself kept coming to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. After discharge, continued good care despite the long distance from home. After six months of check-ups and another small operation to correct it. RIP-OFF. !!! We didn't like our first impression of him and his wife. We were also recommended by Medibell, and we were confirmed in writing that the total cost is approx. 999 euros! Ultimately, we emphasized during the conversation that we wanted general anesthesia. When the price increased by 1,800 euros, we contacted both Medibell (Check24) and the doctors. The secretary of Check24 was surprised at the price increase, and it was also due to the general anesthesia! Ultimately, only local anesthesia was performed, i.e. no general anesthesia! We refused to complete the operation and didn't even get any money back! I had a breast lift and I never thought that it would look so perfect in the end and the scars have healed wonderfully. I chose him because he took away my fears from the first conversation! You will receive great advice and support from the first second. Even before and during the operation you will not be forgotten. After a lot of weight loss, there wasn't much left of my already small breasts. When I was looking for a surgeon for a BV, I came across Dr. due to the many positive reports in various forums. Edelmann became aware. I made an appointment for a consultation, for which €35 was charged as consultation costs, which I thought was completely fine. I was first contacted by Ms. Edelmann and later by Dr. Edelmann was greeted very friendly, the surgical explanation that followed was very detailed and all my questions were answered. In general, both Ms. Edelmann and Dr. Edelmann was very understanding with every question and explained everything to me in the best possible way, whether in person or by phone, and even now after the operation I can contact you at any time if I have any questions. Absolute plus points, in addition to the competent appearance of Dr. Edelmann, for me were the surgical technique with the saline implants and twilight sleep sedation. On December 17th I then had my surgery appointment. The entire clinic staff was very friendly and my fears were allayed when I was greeted by nurse “Fee”. Later, Dr. Edelmann, with his calm and friendly demeanor throughout the entire preparation for the operation, took away every last bit of nervousness or doubt. The operation was carried out with twilight sedation (strong painkillers, sedatives & local anesthesia). I was awake the whole time and noticed everything. I have very positive memories of the friendly interaction between Dr. Edelmann and the nurses during the operation, both Dr. Edelmann and the nurses asked me several times during the operation how I felt. I felt absolutely nothing during the operation, except for a slight pulling or pressure feeling when inserting the implants. The inpatient care before, during and after the operation was impeccable. I was put up in a single room and after a few hours my boyfriend was allowed to stay with me and keep me company for the rest of the day. The nurses checked on me every hour, gave me painkillers, checked drainage and blood pressure. I felt very cared for the entire time. Also Dr. Edelmann checked on me after the operation. The next day Dr. Edelmann pulled out the drains, briefly and fairly painlessly, so that I was able to leave the clinic around 10 a.m. With the prescribed painkillers, the pain can be tolerated quite well. Of course, the whole thing is not painless, you don't need to worry about it, but after the first week it will be forgotten again. Almost 2 months post-op, I am more than satisfied with the result. After two pregnancies my breasts changed a lot and I was very, very dissatisfied. That's what I did with Dr. Edelmann made an appointment for a consultation, it cost 35, which I thought was totally fine. We (my husband and I) were warmly welcomed into Ms. Edelmann's practice. The conversation with Dr. Edelmann was straightforward and to the point. 8 weeks later the time had come and I was welcomed so warmly on the ward that I even felt a bit less nervous. The operation was carried out in twilight sleep. The inpatient care was very good, you got everything you wanted :-). The stay was one night, after which I was allowed to go home and felt sensational. The pain was almost gone after two days, the scars healed quickly and I'm just happy with my new smaller breasts (from E/F cup to C). I always felt comfortable before the operation in the clinic, during the operation and after. Dr Edelmann is totally humorous and funny. During my operation in my twilight sleep I almost had to laugh because it was so funny how he and the operation nurses talked in such a funny, funny way that I almost forgot that I had my breast implants removed during that time my eyelids have been tightened. By the way, after such a long time (5 years), the structured implants had grown very firmly into the tissue, which made the explantation not that easy and despite this I had no pain at all and found it to be relatively quick. After the operation I was always checked on, whether by the nurse or by Dr Edelmann personally. And now a few hours after the operation I don't feel any pain and I'm feeling very well!!! I came across Dr. through a friend. He became aware of Edelmann, who had a breast enlargement done years ago and could highly recommend him. My mother then had surgery in April and I then had surgery in June 2018 (implant under the pectoral muscle). We had the surgical explanation together, where we were able to clarify all questions and uncertainties. The calm manner of Dr. Edelmann takes away the fear that one understandably has about an operation, even if it is voluntary. Another plus point for me was that the operation was not performed under general anesthesia, but rather under twilight sedation (sedatives and strong painkillers + local anesthesia). I heard everything, the operating room nurse calmed me down and told me what was happening next and asked me how I was feeling. You don't feel anything during the operation, at most you feel a slight pressure when the implants are inserted. The post-operative inpatient care is more like a hotel (single room, good food). After the operation, a nurse constantly comes in, checks how you are doing, checks your blood pressure and saturation, checks for bleeding, gives you painkillers, etc. Mr. and Mrs. Edelmann also came by in the afternoon and inquired. The next morning the drains are removed and you are discharged. If you take the prescribed tablets, you can endure the pain. Dr. Edelmann can be reached by his patients at any time by phone or email. Appointments can always be made very quickly. Unfortunately one breast will have to be corrected again next year because it is lower than the other, but I would still recommend Dr. Edelmann had the operation and my mother and I can only recommend him. I had surgery with Dr med. Paul J. Edelmann on 01.10.2018 at the Main Klinik Frankfurt and would like to review my experience pre-op and post-op. I am a 30-year-old mother of two and petite. During breastfeeding, both of my children, for a combined total of 28 months, I have seen my breasts swell to at its largest, 34DDD, then deflating to a sad and asymmetric small B (right) and small A (left). I have been researching this procedure for 4 whole years, and I am happy to share my experience with all who are willing to read it. From the first call, I have been completely blown away by their service, very friendly and always attentive. I use to work with doctors when I worked in NYC and have learned that humour is some of the best medicine, which is another reason why I chose Dr Edelmann. The nurse staff are so kind and were so attentive after I made the mistake of eating… a mandarin orange. My body rejected the orange and my nurse(s) were there every time it did. I live on Lake Constance and have been a patient of Dr. since 2010. Nobleman. Since then he has performed a breast enlargement, an abdominoplasty, and later an implant replacement with 750cc and liposuction in various places. For me, the only option for both breast operations was saline implants because cancer prevention can be carried out without restrictions and if an implant defect were to occur, I would not have to expect any health problems. In addition, capsular contractures with the implants are extremely rare. Very nice, competent doctor. You were given a timely appointment for the consultation, everything was explained to you and all questions were answered. You were warmly welcomed by Ms. Edelmann and Dr. Nobleman. I felt very comfortable from the first impression. I also got an appointment for the operation promptly, which made me very happy. For a long time I was dissatisfied with my large, sagging breasts, even at a young age. I had a breast reduction surgery with a jugulum-mamillary distance of 37.5 cm to 21 cm without making an incision in the mammary fold. On the day of the operation you were warmly welcomed by the staff and Dr. Nobleman, what happened little by little was explained to you. I received twilight sedation (strong painkiller + sedative + local anesthesia). I slept through the operation and therefore didn't notice anything. Post-operatively I was looked after very well, someone often came in and asked how I was doing, I felt very comfortable throughout my entire stay in the hospital. The next day the drains were removed and you were then allowed to be discharged. After 4 days of surgery I can't complain about any pain. Absolute disaster. I paid a 50 euro consultation fee to be mocked in 5 minutes. His secretary, Ms. Edelmann, seemed very incompetent and bitchy (at least to me). In addition, she was constantly at odds with her husband, Dr. Nobleman, she didn't seem to be completely familiar with her work. I found Dr. through “esteticon”. Nobleman pushed. Under my post he wrote that he wanted to help me. Unfortunately, when I made an appointment and was asked to come into his room, I wasn't offered to sit down. He stood opposite and asked what my concern was. I sat down anyway. I explained my problem to him and when I said, "It occurs especially when I laugh," he said dryly, but still smiling, "then never laugh again." A few days later, the secretary explained by email that the Edelmann practice would not insist on the treatment if I did not agree to pay an additional 400. I found her email dubious, as the amount to be paid had already been agreed upon. What else can you say about that?
