I would give him negative stars if I could I wasted 5k on rhinoplasty with this doctor that doesn’t accept his faults. Only some of the noses he does come out looking good. DO NOT GOT TO HIM, he left my nose crooked and not looking right. Now I have to pay another doctor to fix it

NOT RECOMMENDED. He did my nose, chin, and ears in 2016. One ear is noticeably farther out, chin implant broke open 3 days after surgery because of infection, and nose tip has fallen. My experience as a patient of Dr. Fuentes has been wonderful, from botox and fillers to my breast augmentation and liposuction. Regarding my breast augmentation I am in love with the result! At the beginning I had a larger size in mind, but I am very grateful to Dr. Fuentes for being so honest and realistic explaining me the pros and cons of what I wanted at that time. I followed his advice for a more conservative size and it was the best thing I could have done. My breasts look very natural but at the same time voluptuous without being vulgar. The scar is almost invisible and the implant is almost imperceptible to the touch. Needless to say that my self-esteem increased by 200% as I had never felt so confident and proud of my body. In addition to that I had liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks, even though I never had a very curvy figure Dr. Fuentes was able to give me a beautiful and curvy silhouette and above all he did not leave a single scar or mark. I definitely could not have chosen a more professional, talented and empathetic doctor. My whole process from the evaluation to the post op was smooth and pleasant, at no time did I feel doubtful or insecure, because Dr. Fuentes made sure I had all the necessary information on time and was there to answer all my questions. This guy should be banned from performing any type of surgeries. I got my rhinoplasty done around June 2020. I waited well over a year to be fair and allow for swelling to go down. The day after surgery I immediately noticed how uneven my nostrils were. I brought it to his attention and he brushed it off saying it was due to swelling. When I met with him for the cast removal I brought it up again and he said he would charge me $100 MORE to make the good nostril like like the bad one. Not once did he apologize or own up to his mistakes. My tip was lifted although we agreed he would not lift my tip, my bridge has a weird indentation, scars are extremely noticeable and ugly due to his sloppy stitches, nostrils are extremely uneven and shaped differently. I also suffer from breathing problems which is due to a deviated septum that I DID NOT have before surgery. This “surgeon” lacks so much empathy, professionalism, and talent. I now suffer from depression and he also refused to send me MY pictures. He obviously doesn’t want to get sued. There was another review I read about him causing nerve damage to someone else. Please be very careful and do lots of research. There is a reason why he does not post good pictures of his work. I also remember waking up on the surgery table and being extremely scared. First time going under anesthesia so not sure if that’s normal. I recommend looking him up on Yelp and the clinic he works for as well. They have so many different yelp pages because of their bad reviews. Definitely going to look into a lawyer very soon.... (Show more)

He made my nose crooked, worse surgon i have ever seen do not ever come to him! I HATE HIM I GET BULLIED IN SCHOOL NOIW

worst experience of my life, he made my eyebrows wonky and when i tried to confront him of it he just denied it multiple times. DO NOT RECOMEND!

Dr Fuentes did a breast lift on my wife' The areolas of my wife were damaged and Dr fuentes left many stitches in'' I don't recommend him'' My wife has Alot of permanent scarring from all the left in stiches, If it was in the US it would have been a lawsuit , I would like to punch him in the face if I had a chance, a horrible Doctor... Two years ago I made an appointment with Fuentes, I was given a surgery date I flew into Tijuana paid for a hotel for two weeks just so they can tell me I wasn’t scheduled, I was still super understanding and I was told I would be put on a priority cancellation list. It has now been another year with no response to my emails or anything but when I call they had the nerve to ask me for a deposit to be put back on the priority cancellation list despite them telling me I was already on it long ago. I have hated my lower eye bags for years. Now at age 59 I decided to do something about it. My cousin who is an RN and esthetician in the Bay Area recommended Dr. Juan Carlos Fuentes, who operates at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. Via a virtual consultation, whereby I sent him photographs and details of what I was seeking, he returned a price quote and details of the procedure he recommended, Transconjunctival Blepharoplasy. My assigned contact there, Yesenia, was knowledgeable and prompt getting back to me with answers to all my emailed questions. I decided to go ahead, and traveled to his lovely, state-of-the-art clinic, Cosmed, in Tijuana to first have the required lab tests done, and then returned 2 weeks later for the surgery. From start to finish he and his staff were professional and compassionate. The surgery lasted an hour, under local anesthesia with a sedative. I was discharged that day with stiches and surgical tape to keep them in place. I followed instructions, applied icepacks and took it very easy for a few days. I returned 5 days later to have the stitches removed, and was stunned by the dramatic improvement so soon after the procedure. The rapid healing and minor swelling and bruising I attribute to Dr. Fuentes’ masterful skills and long experience doing cosmetic surgery. I returned to work after 6 days and my coworkers were all amazed at the difference and how good I looked. Today is 8 days after, and I still can’t believe it when I look in the mirror. The whole experience and improvement far surpassed my expectations, and I heartily recommend Dr. Fuentes and Cosmed for any cosmetic surgery you may be considering. He partners with a few other surgeons at the clinic, who are also tops in their specialties. I saved thousands of dollars compared to what I’d have paid here in the US, and got a world-class result. I can't say enough about this Dr! He is a true artist and really cares about his patients and what they want! After a surgeon in Beverly Hills/Torrance area destroyed my nose removing a tiny spur I had no idea who to turn to to fix it.. after reading reviews and seeing his amazing port I chose Dr Fuentes. From the get go I felt so comfortable! He wrote back to my emails himself quickly and even after hours or on weekends! He helped me Photoshop my profile to make sure I knew what to expect, just above and beyond care! The facility is amazing with state of the art equipment and a wonderful staff! He made it clear that he understood exactly what I hoped for and went the extra mile on the things I cared about. I healed quickly with minimal bruising and swelling and I LOVE MY NOSE. He really kept the essence of "me". In addition to all that though he made sure to reinforce everything so it wouldnt have any compromised integrity. Dr. Fuentes is the best! I have gone to him for Botox at VIDA four times over the past few years. He does it better than anyone I've ever seen in San Diego and LA, and the results are always great while still looking natural. I recommend him to my friends and family and trust him with my face!

I had my breast augmentation back in 2016... my experience from beginning to end was amazing.. very professional Dr. Fuentes made sure I woke up from surgery in no pain staying at the wellness center in the same building with RN nurses taking care of you and Dr. available to come check you if anything... Juan Carlos Fuentes from Cosmed Clinic and Vida Wellness and Beauty in Tijuana, Baja California ! October 2016 he ruined my health! He did unnecessary procedure on my face, lying to me about it! He cut the saliva duct in a parotid gland in the right side of my face. The saliva and blood was draining into my face instead of the mouth ! For 2 longest month in my life doctors at Scrips Memorial Hospital tried to save my life! I went trough a worse nightmare because of this dangerous man! I had an artificial duct in my mouth so I could live my life, and since October 2016 I had 7 surgeries to fix HIS mess! I almost died from the hands of unprofessional and unknowledgeable butcher Juan Carlos Fuentes! They are greedy for money, don’t care about patients health!
