Dr Chee Yong
Chee has been practicing dentistry since 2000 after graduating from the University of Otago in New Zealand. He has been in Launceston for over 10 years and is currently completing a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts at the University of Tasmania (very, very part time). You might have seen his artwork at local and interstate art prizes (he thinks that his art career is taking off but also believes that pigs might fly one day).

Belinda has been a dental practice manager longer than Chee has been a dentist. She is responsible for the smooth operation of the practice and also Chee’s art career. Belinda is not however responsible for Chee’s after-work and online antics.

Been seeing Chee for a number of years and cannot recommend him highly enough. Also looks after the kids which is a touch challenge at the best of times.

Best Dentist in Not only Tasmania but in Australia. Dr. Chee Young is such an honest and kind person and willing to go out of his way to provide a high standard of service to his patients.

The most helpful practice in Launceston. Belinda Dr Chee's assistant was so helpful referring us to a same day prosthetic clinic. Dr Chee was very gentle and painless ! An honest practice is very hard to find these days , we are very happy we did !!

They fitted me in with a days notice when I was suffering from severe tooth pain. Were very attentive and calming when I was nervous. Would definetly recommend and will be going back
This is my first time feeling helpless but fortunately I met Dr. Yong. He is so caring and professional. I am so proud to be a Chinese because of Dr. Yong. Tnank you and all the best.
Thanks to genetics, I haven't had the best teeth - so I've seen my fair share of Dentists over the years. Not to say I haven't been lucky and seen some great ones, but the sense of comfort and ease that I felt with Dr Chee was by far the quickest. He makes you feel very comfortable and instills a sense of confidence in him very easily. He also cut through all lot of the excess add ons and charges we were getting with our last Dental Practice - namely unwarranted xrays and extra appointments that cost over $120 each time, even with health cover. He works quickly, but thoroughly and is happy to explain anything to you in your words. Plus he's got a wicked sense of humor - I should know, my own business is located just next door and I've been listening to laughter coming from their side for over 7 years (and it's not laughing gas - I checked!). I would happily tell people to not overlook this little Practice for a larger, flashier, less personal one.... (Show more)
