After many years I still feel the consequences of a mini-abdominoplasty done even though I didn't need it (statement from another surgeon), he inserted a mesh which is used for those who suffer from hernias (I don't suffer at all), in the lower part of the abdomen it is even today my abdomen is because of this mesh I can't rest it because I feel discomfort and when I tan the part where the mesh is becomes darker, I went to other doctors and no one could give me an explanation as to why it was inserted into me this mesh without closing the diastasis... having said this I want to say that as long as before the operation I could keep my belly inside now this mesh doesn't allow me to do so..... I have everything documented with lots of ultrasounds that my small diastasis doesn't fit me closed, I was practically cut off for nothing and obviously all the visits were at my expense..... unfortunately for me it went very badly after 20 years and two children of waiting to be able to afford such an operation.... I hope no one else lives the experience that I have lived and that I am still living.... (Show more)
