I bring a wealth and diversity of professional experience to my clinical practice. My professional qualifications include an Honours Degree in Psychology from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Certificate in Western Clinical Examination. As a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland (ACI), I am a fully qualified and insured practitioner. I am bound by their code of ethics and safe practice. My treatments are covered by Ireland’s major health insurance companies for out-patient insurance purposes.
I went to Niall with a sinus issue that was causing me a good deal of difficulty. I began to see an improvement straight away and continued to improve over a number of visits. His work made a major difference to me. He works in a very welcoming atmosphere and I thoroughly recommend him.
I have been getting acupuncture for over a year now from New Leaf. Having never tried acupuncture before going to new leaf to now going every second week I can’t recommend this place enough. Initially I went as I was suffering from bad headaches, which after a couple of weeks with Niall they cleared up. My visits to New Leaf Acupuncture were a great experience. I had pretty much given up on pain relief. However, Niall's kind and attentive approach reassured me from the start and I now have achieved more relief than I ever dared expect. I return maybe twice a year or so for a top up. I visited Dervla for relief from a long-term eczema condition and to see if acupuncture could alleviate menopausal symptoms. After my first treatment, the areas of eczema diminished and my menopausal symptoms eased. My eczema patches shrank, were less angry looking and I felt less irritation. I was sleeping through the night and experienced fewer hot flushes during the daytime. As my treatments progressed my eczema kept on improving. This is the first treatment I have tried which has had such a good effect on this condition. I chose this clinic by happenstance as it was local to me and I am so pleased I did.
