I went to Dermitek to request a diagnosis of varicose veins, mainly for a cosmetic concern. One of the people on the team performed an ultrasound on me, presenting a very catastrophic diagnosis of my condition. He explains to me that I have something very serious and that otherwise he would wait to perform the laser but not in my situation. He advises me to intervene now and provides me with a budget. I leave worried and ask for a second (medical insurance) and third opinion (osakidetza) and both vascular experts agree that my varicose veins are a normal case and that it is not necessary to perform any intervention due to health risk.
