I was accompanied by Dr. Sandra Rodrigues. Despite your kindness, I consider that, in my case, you did not do a competent job. I had my braces fitted at this clinic. Having retrognathism, I don't remember being correctly discussed which procedures were most suitable for my case, having adopted a method exclusively to straighten the teeth and nothing was done about the spacing between the arches. After visiting other professionals as an adult, they all identified retrognathism and mentioned that it should and could have been corrected during my growth, as orthodontic appliances can be applied to stimulate jaw growth. In adulthood, only with maxillofacial surgery can such projection of the mandible be achieved, which is more invasive, painful and expensive. In addition to the poor monitoring regarding my retrognathism, I had a fixed retainer device. I recently went to another clinic because my gums were inflamed. They removed said device and said it had excessive glue, and the most serious thing was that there were regions of the gum that had glue on top, not allowing it to be cleaned.
