Dant-y-Coed Dental Practice

Such a lovely welcoming practice. All the staff are super lovely and friendly. I have a slight fear of the dentist and whenever I go I am always made to feel safe and comfortable. They never make me feel silly for feeling the way I do and always reassure me during any treatments.

Shocking dentist, avoid at all cost, can't do the work, you wait months then they cancel, I have lost good teeth through this dentist. Appauling customer service!!!! I have been with this practice a long time, they used to be good once upon a time, not now! My root canal work they filled it and have cancelled two appointments since November which, if Dan would have capped the tooth would have been ok, now it's falling apart and they saying after cancelling my appointment they can't get me in even on an emergency as it's an hour appointment ! The worst treatment and customer service I have had in all my life !!!! So they leave me with a crumbling tooth after paying for this unfinished work and the risk of infection. Couldn't get an emergency appointment first thing this morning for my 85 year old mum who has alzheimers , lives alone and is suffering with toothache and cannot manage pain herself. Told to try again at 8:30 on Monday. Not good enough I'm afraid. 😕 …

I had been for a consultation with another dentist but felt I was getting ripped off, came across Dant Y Coed and very glad I did, made the appointment and saw Dr Monika Jaida,she was extremely welcoming and professional did a CT scan and then talked me though everything, then sent me a detailed pricing structure for what I needed, I have had one implant with another to be done new year, if you need implants speak to this dental practice, I traveled from Manchester to see Monika and will do so again, all staff there are lovey and quality of work is fantastic, my Mrs and kids all said cannot tell its an implant, I'm going back because I know there good and I feel very comfortable with them... I have now finished my implant treatment! I have previously had a number of years of orthodontic treatment. Following this I was left with a small gap in my top row of teeth and I had a bridge fitted, this was due to the concern that the gap was to small and it would potentially be to small for the implant to be placed without effecting other roots. I had the bridge for several years but always felt it wasn't secure and it could come out anytime as the longer it is in place the more it wears. Recently the bridge came out and I asked if an implant could be considered. Currently in Dant Y Coed they have specialists in the practice and I was suggested that I could have a 3D scan which would give a more accurate result if I could go ahead with the implant. I met with Monika and we did the scan and she advised she felt she could do the implant. This was amazing news as I have spent years believing I couldn't have one and if it wasn't for the scan I would have never known. Initially I was worried as this is treatment I have never had before. Monika and Danielle couldn't have made me feel more comfortable. When I had the implant placed I didn't feel a thing and I was consulted throughout the procedure. There was then a 3 month wait for the implant to settle and then I had my impression taken for the tooth. I went back for the tooth to be fitted and I am thrilled. It feels amazing knowing I have a more secure tooth and won't worry anymore. The tooth looks so real and fits in perfect with my natural teeth. I'm so glad I went ahead and had this done. The cost of an implant can be expensive but it is so worth it. I even had the option of a payment plan which meant I could pay monthly rather than a lump sum which made the world of difference. had implant completed 3weeks ago. perfect fit immediately, totally comfortabe and secure, so much better than a crown! The team led by Monika gave me confidence and great care and I was comfortable thoughout the procedure. I am over 70 yrs so had a little hesitancy deciding to have the procedure, but am so pleased with the result. The technology to me is amazing, old style dentistry ....fillings and crowns etc seem primitive in comparison.... (Show more)

Firstly, my treatment for my implant dental surgery was quite a long process. This was discussed with my own dentist who explained the process, which then took me on to further discuss with a specialist in root canal surgery. This consultation lead me on to speak with my consultant dental surgeon Ms Monika Jaidka. The team at Dant Y Coed dental practice are extremely professional but also careful and understanding. I can't fault the staff and the service. My implantologist was very experienced and knowledgeable she explained the process and stages of having implants in very easy to understand language. This has been a very positive experience and the best money I could have spent on myself. I am delighted with the results of my dental imlpant surgery. I can now chew properly and they look excellent. The process has been quick, informative, and precise. I simply can't thank them enough. I would not hesitate using Dant Y Coed again for any future treatment required and I would definitely recommend Monika for the extremely high standard of treatment she gives and her fantastic team, especially Danielle, for the professional, friendly and caring service they give....
