ZEREN OZBAYER International Patient Coordinator I was born in London in the UK and English is my first Language. My parents are both Turkish Cypriot, so I also speak Turkish as my parents speak both English and Turkish at home. I attended Primary, Secondary School and College in UK. After which I chose to study Psychology at University. My interests in Psychology increased from my last two years of Secondary school as I underwent courses to become a mediator for the other students needed guidance. I realised from a young age that listening and trying to help was a skill I had and I wanted to explore this as a profession. After gaining my psychology degree, I moved to Cyprus and have now been here for 12 years. I began working in IVF 10 years ago after my sister began researching IVF treatment for herself. We attended the clinic together, where I then started working. Based on her personal experience I witnessed how difficult the IVF journey ahead was going to be. I soon after applied for the counsellor role at the clinic and started my own journey working in IVF. My skills as a counsellor have evolved and I use my skills in line with my role as an international co-ordinator, my own personal experience with my sister’s IVF journey allows me to empathise with patients and the IVF treatment ahead of them. I worked closely with both International and Turkish patients and began my training in IVF treatment. I find that my role as a counsellor helps me to provide the support needed during IVF treatment as all patients have a desire to complete their family by adding a baby. Patients are exposed to different types of stress throughout the IVF stages and together we aim to overcome these to help them become parents and it is a journey we experience together and patients are supported every step of the way.
Me and my partner have had recent treatment with HOPE IVF - Team Z (October 2023). This was our 2nd round of IVF but first at this clinic, I can't recommend this clinic enough to anyone thinking of having treatment! Our co ordinator Zeren made everything happen for us, she was always there to answer any questions we may of had, setting up consultations with Dr Zehra, nothing was ever to much for Zeren and she really got to know us on a personal level. Dr Zehra, gave a really personal touch also, communication was 10/10 each step of the way. She really listened to our story and tailored our treatment plan accordingly. My results compared to my first cycle at a previous clinic exceeded our expectations, we were are still are over the moon! Currently 11 weeks pregnant with more healthy embryos on ice. The clinic itself is stunning, modern clean, easy location, not far from the border. Reception staff and nursing team are kind warm and friendly. We can't thank the entire team at HOPE enough!! From the first communication it was clear that I will stay with Hope fertility clinic. I had great service, caring doctor Zahren and my amazing consultant Zaren. I had successful results in the first try, which is due to clinics organisation and good timing
Our adventure with Team Z went very well from start to finish. It is a team of professionals who truly listen to the needs of each patient. I would particularly like to thank Stéphanie, our coordinator who was very available to us. Thanks again to the whole team for their kindness, our little girl is now with us and our family is complete.
Over the last year I have been having treatment with Team Z and I’m currently expecting our baby early next year. I first got in contact with the clinic via the English speaking coordinator Zeren who is very friendly and was always happy to answer all of my (many!) questions with care and kindness. Dr Zehra was my doctor and was so knowledgeable and caring throughout the whole process. The hospital and nursing team are fantastic and I felt so at ease being treated there even though I always travelled alone. We first approached Team Z at the end of last year. So, about 8 months ago. We headed out for egg retrieval and fresh transfer in November 2022 feeling a bit nervous about what to expect. I have never been through IVF before and going abroad for it made me quite nervous! But we decided to make a holiday of it, and we did. The egg retrieval so very successful - 57 eggs. Yes you read that right. On one hand that was fantastic because I knew I probably never needed to do another retrieval again. On the other, it meant that it put me at risk of OHSS so I was required to travel back a few weeks later for the frozen transfer. I actually really appreciated this process, as disappointing as it was at the time of course, because it showed me that my health was their priority and they wouldn't take risks with it. I had no symptoms recovering which is amazing (thank you coconut water!) and my first frozen transfer was successful - it stuck. Unfortunately, though, it ended in early misscarriage. At this stage, I was starting to overthink it a bit and panic that maybe this would never happen for me. But second transfer, stuck again. I'm sitting here today at the 12 week mark. Things that really stood out to me were: the facilities that Team Z use (at British IVF Hospital) are really impressive. As soon as I got to reception on my first day / appointment, I relaxed because I knew it was all legit and I could tell by the staff that it was a very professional setting. From that point I can honestly say I had no qualms in putting my trust in them. Dr Zehra is very honest and caring. I really really liked that I was dealing with a female doctor. Zeren my coordinator was wonderful and always a message away, which enabled us to ask and get answers quickly. The process at the hospital was very reassuring. They check both partners details at every step of the way and check you into procedures with barcodes and ensure that all of the right processes are in place. I also found that very reassuring. What else can I say that would have helped me 8 months ago? Ah - they can also organise an acupuncturist to come into the hospital for pre- and post- transfer treatment. I found that very helpful. The whole process did not feel like a serious medical procedure but instead, a holiday. The place and the people of the country were relaxed and very generous and the people in the clinic itself embodied this attitude. Particularly, Zeren the coordinator and Dr Zahra gave a very warm welcome and always made you feel like you were the only one getting medical treatment. I went in August 2022 and will be giving birth in May 23 and for someone that is very, very mature in age, it was nothing short of a miracle. Our fertility journey started in 2019 after two years of trying to conceive. We were referred to hospital from our GP. I already knew I suffered from PCOS and thought that this may be the reason, however we found out my husband had a low sperm count and multiple issues regarding sperm. We qualified for two rounds of IVF on the NHS and we had one fresh round and two frozen transfers one of which we paid for. Each round did not work and we where told there’s nothing I can do just keep transferring frozen embryos. I started to look in 2021 at clinics abroad. I found Hope and Gizem message me on WhatsApp. She was lovely friendly and everything I needed however I was just not ready I wanted to try one more time in the UK. In February 2022 we had our third failed round and in May I looked back and found to Gizem information on WhatsApp. And we started making plans for me to come in October 2022. Gizem understood me, I explained how I wanted to do the whole service from start to finish in Cyprus. This was no issue, i’ve booked my own transfers accommodation and everything however Gizem was always there to help out no matter what. When I arrived to the clinic I was shocked as to how big and wonderful it look so professional and clean. Staff were lovely and friendly. I met Doctor Zehra and she seemed really nice and had a wonderful friendly smile. During the consultation she did not take for granted that my husband and I were young 25. Rather looked at our paperwork and the facts. Suggesting ways we can improve do things differently and get a better success rate. During my scans she spoke clearly and explained things clearly which is something they don’t really do in the UK(NHS). They also allowed us to choose how many embryos we would like to transfer. And didn’t refuse to do what we wanted. I am a nervous person which I think Gizem and Doctor found a bit funny they just tried to relax me. Due to the pre-care Gizem told me to do before arriving I was able to control my PCOS and go through with the whole cycle and have a fresh embryo transfer. As all test results and blood work were good. I left 4 days after my transfer and after 12 days I saw my first positive test and we are just looking forward to our baby/babies. 100% recommend.... Our journey for IVF started in January 2021 after passing through all the UK IVF clinics, spending alot of money on test and waiting for results to then be told he had to pay £10,000.00 up front before we could get anywhere. In August we decided to see what alternatives there were out there as all the UK IVF clinic seemed only to be interested in making money. I searched on Google and saw Cyprus Hope IVF Consultation came up on the search We contacted them, gave them our details and Gizem contacted us straight away and gave us all the information we needed to decide on going with them. Gizem made all the arrangements for my husband and I to travel over to Cyprus, including all the flights, taxi from airport to our beautiful hotel in northern Cyprus Gizem quickly became very close friends of mine, enabling me to be relaxed and reassured during the whole process. Meeting Doctor Zehra the first time was amazing, she is such a caring and professional Doctor. She took me through the whole process alongside Gizem until it was time for us to return to the UK. I had confirmation of being pregnant in September and we now have a beautiful 5 month old baby girl. We would highly recommend Cyprus Hope IVF Consultation to anyone who's on the IVF Journey.... Dr. Zehra and my Coordinator Zeren were always friendly, helpfull and warm hearted. They have many knowledge and experiences in this whole IVF topic and are always there to give good advices. They wrote individual protocols which fit exactly to my individual medical requirements. They work very professional and reliable. The clinic is very clean, modern and with a high medical equipment. All the nurses were very friendly and engaged. We did two collections to have a healthy backup and it seems like we were successful with the first frozen transfer.... (Show more)

April 2022 Where do I start I'm gonna be very honest and up front. From the day we got there it was all good from accommodation taxi rides and meeting with Dr Zehra and Gizem very nice ppl BUT I'm gonna cut this very short as we was told last mins about appointments we also was buying alot of meds last min. Unfortunately our ivf didn't work and we don't know why because there was no after care or even little as a phone call when we had the bad news . That's when it clicked that this is all about money and it was very hurtful that we went through so much and we didn't even get a Courtesy call to see how we was doing! We had to buy more meds before we came back and now they are no use to us! The meds price was 3 times more than quoted. There was no step by step guide for the treatment. I pray and hope that no one goes through what we did.... (Show more)
I met Gizem online in 2018, discussing my experiences with lack of conception after some years delayed, which she gave me some options on IVF which I opted to. In 2021, I decided to go ahead with the treatment in June and she was with me all the way through the process, Travelling to Cyprus form London for the treatment, she so amazing person as well as Dr Zerha and the Teams Z This year Feb 2022 I had my bundle of joy baby boy at my first attempt Glory be to God almighty and thanks to Gizem, Dr Zerha and Teams Z for amazing work that God used them to do. I still can't believe it, I'm so excited The support and Guidance was brilliant. They truely care for you. The Standard of Care is Absolutely Excellent. Yous have made my journey so easy and comfortable especially travelling from a different country and with the recent travel restrictions. Also there transport services at the Cinic are excellent and very friendly. I will be forever grateful for professional services and hospitality they have given us. Dr Z made our dreams come true! She is an expert in her field and we got pregnant from our first try with just 1 embryo transferred. The communication and help from zeren was amazing. We owe all of this joy to them. From organising medication to the uk and helping with booking our trip as well as the after care they are amazing!! 100% success rate.. My wife & i had 3 unsuccessful cycles in the UK very low quality embryos and very little hope to start a family.. our journey started 6 years ago when we met Zeren and Dr Zehra... we travelled to Cyprus and had instant success on our 1st cycle in Cyprus,we now have a beautiful 5 and 1/2 year old son.. who is amazing, and we are totally indebted to the kindness, hardworking & passion for IVF that Zeren & Dr Zehra have.. Zeren is always available to answer questions and helps you organise every aspect of your IVF journey.. DR Zehra is an expert in her field of IVf she is very humble and approachable and has extremely high success rates.. since having our son, we have felt so lucky and have kept in contact sharing special moments with Zeren as she has become our good friend.. Anyway we decided this year that we would like to give our son a brother or a sister so we continued our IVF Journey obviously we contacted Zeren and she helped us again in a heartbeat.. we travelled back to Cyprus at the start of October. The hospital was amazing, the staff were all friendly, and my wife has just had a positive pregnancy test this week! Couldn't be happier with two cycles and 100% success rate! In 9 months' time our family will be complete.. at the start of our journey, we were hopeless, anxious, and desperate.. thanks to team Z. hope IVF Zeren & Dr Zehra we now have the family we always wanted I can never say thankyou enough.. and as I write this post I have tears of joy welling in my eyes..
