My original Review: Receptionist lives up to the assertive, ill mannered stereotypes expected! Joanne, while I appreciate you may be busy, gentle reminder; we all are! Update: Like it couldn’t get any worse. The so called “chief of this circus” ordered me to his office and attacked me for leaving a google review and chastised me for missing appointments (appointments that I called to reschedule - however note above, it’s clear this circus doesn’t communicate) Not only did the “chief whip” attack me, he did so prior to noting my medical history/or even giving me a chance to complete it. As a doctor you would expect that he would at least check this to ensure the patient has no medical conditions that may cause them react to such a circumstance. He then continued by informing me; to his delight that he had reported me to my company HR for leaving a review!! While this evidently appeared to please him as he had an egotistical smirk on his face. This place is as bad as it is no doubt due to this man’s poor leadership and ability to bully! While I was trying to complete my medical history documentation in reception, I overheard him patronizing his reception team - ensuring the are keeping up with the “prescriptions as they are their Christmas bonus” It is important that I document my experience here as others are warned and so called doctors do not get away with such horrific behavior.... Worst GP in town. Peter is a bully and a petty man. Managed to show up an hour and half late for an prepaid online appointment with me. I called and emailed reception to see if he would still attend. No response unfortunately. After an hour I sent an email that I found it to be unprofessional not to at least let me know that he'd be a lot later than planned. Once Peter connected to the online appointment he angrily told me that they are very professional and that his clinic is up to the highest standards, he told me that he'd tell reception that I wanted to be deregistered as a patient at ifsc medical and had them sent me my medical file! He just ended the session like that and that was that! He left me in a position where I did not have a GP for months whereas I needed medical care. This man has an ego bigger than life and abuses the power he has as a GP. Stay clear from this clinic if you want your health to be taken more seriously.... (Show more)
Used to be great, but all good GPs left, cannot get an e cert for social welfare to get the covid payment even though I have a PCR test and I’m a health care worker. Receptionist is very rude and cheeky, told me to pay for a consultation to get a form by post, but I have covid so I have to isolate. All good doctors left for a reason, do not waste your money there. Ps. Dr Killeen wrote an email threatening me to erase this review.... (Show more)
I love Dr Maria Lopez Perez. Been visiting her for years and so far throughout my pregnancy.
I was diagnosed by a doctor in this clinic when I had a health issue in December. Process went smooth, communication was apt and the doctor was knowledgeable.
Some reviews here complain about delays. If so, it is because Peter doesn't look at his watch when dealing with patients. He takes the time needed. I've always been very happy with this practice and have recommended it. A business-like surgery with engaged doctors.
Great medical practice, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Richard Dodd for taking the time to go over my diagnosis clearly and treatment options for my leg injury. He clearly advised me it will take couple of weeks, nearly 14 weeks to completely recover, and after 14 weeks of physiotherapy, my leg injury had recovered completely. I highly recommend Richard Dodd as a physiotherapist. The staff were also very polite and punctual as they kept reminding me of my appointments and for any changes. Highly recommend this practice.... Booked an appointment for 10 arrived five minutes early like requested only to be told at 10:25 by the doctor himself Peter Killeen that he was going for a coffee that he would be “5 to 10 minutes who knows “ I can stay and wait for come back another day. Not very professional conduct considering he’s a medical professional.... (Show more)
Both the receptionist and the GP (I chose María Lopez Perez) were very friendly and informative. My appointment happened on time as well, even though it seemed busy. It's not the cheapest GP, but they have plenty of availability and you can book online, which is super convenient. Would recommend :)
Always bad experience. Doctors are always late. they always charge as if it were the first appointment even if you are a patient at the clinic. I do not recommend. do not waste your time and money
First time using google review and this place is just not worth going, if you suspect you have a very major issue I wouldn’t come here to get referrals, honestly just a waste of time.
I was attended by a Spanish doctor who treated me very well, effectively and kindly.
I look at objectionable comments with the answer: "this person has never visited our medical center", it is not difficult for me to take payment receipts and come to you at any time so that "Dr. Keleen" will return the money to me
It’s almost like the physicians at this clinic didn’t study medicine. I described my symptoms for about 30 seconds before the physician announced I had a chronic, lifelong untreatable illness, and started talking about “acceptance” and “finding ways to relieve the symptoms”. She didn’t run any tests or even ask me a single question. In the middle of this visit, she took a phone call and left the room for an “emergency” — which is all fine, if I hadn’t heard and SEEN her laughing with a coworker in the hallway for the next 10 minutes. 10 minutes while I was sitting in the room, thinking about my new “chronic illness”... and my regret for ever having made the appointment to begin with. EDIT: I HAVE attended this centre, 3 years ago. I have emails to prove so.... (Show more)
My GP is Dr. Peter Killenn he is excellent! I looked for years for a good GP and finally found it! The clinic also has other excellent doctors like Dr. Mary and Dr. Inês and also has a very delicate and attentive nurse. I highly recommend this clinic!
I would echo some of the below reviews, that this practise has some good doctors but is very badly run, and is a complete rip-off. I was attending the practise for travel vaccinations, and during the first of three appointments spent €220. I was having three doses of rabies vaccinations, so booked in for a 2nd appointment when paying for my first. I asked the receptionist what the price would be for the 2nd appointment, and she assured me I would only be charged for the vaccination itself, as I had already paid the administrative fee during the first appointment. During the 2nd appointment, a student doctor administered the vaccination, which I had no problem with. When I went to pay, the receptionist said there was a fee for attending the nurse. I explained that I had previously been told that there was no additional charge, just the fee for the vaccination itself. After some back and fourth, I ended up just paying the fee. I noticed on the receipt that it said the fee was for attending the “senior” nurse. When I pointed this out, the receptionist snapped at me about consent and whether I had consented to a medical student. I calmly replied that consent was not the issue, and it was the fact that I was being charged a fee that I had been told wasn’t payable, and to add insult to injury, the receipt noted it was for a “senior” nurse. The manager was so rude with me, I would never ever attend this practise again.... (Show more)
I attended this practice not so long ago and I have to say my experience was excellent. The receptionist were really friendly and helpful. The GP I saw was very helpful and informative. I highly recommend this practice.
I’ve been to this practice many times. Great experience here! The GPs are excellent and very helpful. Receptionists are always friendly and understanding. I can’t understand the bad reviews because every time I have been there it’s been pleasant!!
I have been a patient at this practice for many years! I have always found the doctors and staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this GP practice
Be weary and suspicious of the recent good reviews. Stay away from this place. Horrible from the top down. The atmosphere from the moment I walked in made me turn right around and walk back out again. I should of read the reviews first!!
