Dr Tom Canning
He is a specialist Prosthodontist. Dr. Canning undertook his undergraduate dental training at the School of Dental Science in Trinity College, graduating in 2000 and receiving the Irish Dental Council prize for Restorative Dentistry. Upon graduation, he commenced his dental career working as a house officer at the Dublin Dental School and Hospital. Subsequent to this, Dr. Canning worked for four years as a general dental practitioner, both in the U.K. and Ireland. While working as a general dentist he commenced his further training undertaking the Membership examinations for the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2004. During this period, he developed an interest in complex restorative dental problems and in order to attain the appropriate training for the management of such patients decided to further his education. In addition to training as a Prosthodontist he received a certificate in Dental Implant Surgery from the London Institute, Seattle, Washington, USA in 2011. B.A., B.Dent.Sc, MFD (RCSI), D.Ch.Dent (Prosthodontics). He is a member of Dental Council, Irish Dental Association, RCSI, Dublin Dental Hospital, European Prosthodontic Association and International Team for Implantology.

From the freindly reception staff to the professionalism of the dentists. I had visited for a consultation a few weeks earlier and went in this monring to have a few fillings and some cleaning on my caps and was able to eat already as well as take part in work calls. The friendly, courteous, professional staff made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. I informed Dr. Tom that I had a fear of dentists, he assured me and explained everything in detail throughout the procedure. Amazing facility, very impressed and would recommend their services to everyone. :)

Had an excellent experience at clontarf aesthetic dentistry recently having crowns done would strongly recommend tom and his team the work done was to a extremely high standard and the teeth look flawless an exact match to the originals the lab work that made the crowns is superb also i must add One very happy patient 👍... I am a very nervous patient and normally dread going to the dentist.Tom explained everything I needed to get done and really put me at ease. A timeline was set out for me on my first visit for what I needed done and all the appointments were booked.
