I gave birth by spinal caesarean section in this hospital. I am very satisfied with the anesthesiologist and the staff in the maternity ward. But I am not at all satisfied with the two nurses who took care of me after the birth. Because I am a foreigner and do not know Bulgarian well, they treated me literally badly . They are there to help patients and not to annoy them. I wanted to let the hospital know of my displeasure so that this kind of behavior does not happen again.... (Show more)

"Dr" Filip Stoichkov "Anesthesiologist" as far as I understand is once again failing to fulfill his duties. My wife was operated on under his anesthesia, which was unsuccessful. The self-proclaimed Doctor in question stormed out of the hospital, claiming that the life of the woman in labor and that of the baby were in danger, and no one from the staff was giving any information about what was happening. Thanks to his professionalism, a blood transfusion was necessary for the woman in labor. I understand this is not his first such case. Install a card payment device! It is somehow frivolous that a clinic of such size no longer has this technology that is needed nowadays. I had to walk 10 minutes to find an ATM so I could pay for the exam and tests, and they are not cheap…. This is unacceptable!

My first birth was at Thorax Plovdiv clinic. Fortunately, everything went well. For the second, however, I trusted a hospital that also has neonatology. For so many years in Thorax, this so important for babies department was not created. I want to express my great disappointment with Thorax Plovdiv. My daughter gave birth there 6 days ago and I can still overcome the shock I experienced there. The attitude of the medical staff is disgusting, the very next day after the birth the child was left entirely in her care without to explain what and how it is done, if you ask, you get a quick and slurred answer, hot water was limited if there was any, the food was under all criticism - 2 biscuits breakfast with yogurt, cream sausage with a slice of bread, broth with noodles - and that for a woman in labor. Terrible attitude from the front desk. They never pick up, and when you personally go to the place, no matter what, you get a hell of a rude attitude!!!! Today it happened again! If I knew the name of the lady in question, I would write it down! He shouldn't be there, he allows himself such an attitude towards a pregnant woman, I don't think what it is in principle! Obstetrician-gynecologist Dinko Mandov is dangerous for the life of the mother and her child!! This "doctor" is pushing the woman to have a c-section by making up all sorts of non-existent reasons for it, and after I insisted on a natural birth and refused a c-section over 10 times, exactly one day before my due date, Mandov told me, in the rudest way possible , that it will not degenerate me and that I will get better as I can! Bad equipment and great incompetence on the part of Mandov. Even though he has been checking on me every day for the last week, messing with me, he never realized until the end that my baby was in danger as my waters had turned green and I was carrying my baby! To every question the answer was "God's work will appear when then" ... In short, Mandov simply relies on a cloudless pregnancy and a planned section. At the slightest change and surprise, this person does not know what to do and how to act to save you and your child. I've been here in two different opportunities. The fist time I had a terrible pain caused by an ovarian cyst, they looked after me very well until I got better. Second time I had surgery. I got very sick after surgery from anesthesia. Must nurses (special thanks to Billy) and cleaning staff are so kind and professional. They have done their best to make me feel better and to understand my little Bulgarian. Some doctors and nurses also speak English... (Show more)

The most incompetent anesthesiologist Stoychev should get out of there 😔 A consultation with an anesthesiologist is paid for, not performed. The anesthesia does not affect the woman in labor, everything is felt during the section, Stoychev is not there during the operation. It was the same with the previous birth. I am outraged! Not to mention the miserable food in the hospital, where 1100 BGN is allegedly paid as a "voluntary donation"... Otherwise, the other midwives, nurses, doctors are perfect... But this Stoychev...
