Brilliant, kind staff and doctors are lovely. Always helpful and let’s be honest people only come to write bad reviews out of anger! But anyway happy new year staff and hope you had a lovely Christmas

I have a mixed review because as an adult I can not get an appointment I have a serious medical issue yet I can't get an appointment at all every single day there appointments are gone by 8:45 ridiculous so the 2 stars is from me but I will say I've never been refused an appointment for my children even when they have no space they fit them in which is obviously amazing so 5 stars for children but adults need help as well doctor Williams is also amazing... Not quite sure how many stars to give. On the rare occasion I’ve had to see a GP, they have always been exceptionally helpful. Especially Dr Dobson & Dr Lisa Williams. I also think the ordering of prescriptions on line is excellent. My biggest gripe is PATCHS. when I have a concern which is not urgent I have always used e consult in the past, which although repetitive, I always managed to get through and had a response in 24hrs. Since they have changed to PATCHS, which was marketed as a much easier and informative process, it is sadly absolutely dreadful. It is always off line. Saying no spaces till 12:00. You go back at 12:00, then it says no spaces till 18:00, you go back at 18:00, then it says no spaces till 00:00. This is not a one off, it has happened day after day and is extremely frustrating. Surely there can never be any spaces left or has the system crashed. Or is there not enough man power to service it. What on earth is going on?... (Show more)

It saddens me to write this review - having been a patient at the original Clarence House, and now Clarence Medical since birth over 70 years ago. It now seems to be impossible to see an actual GP - let alone your own doctor. Dr Simon Dobson has always been first class - a considerate, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor who goes above and beyond - but it’s virtually impossible to see him or the other GP’s. Following the 08:30 ‘lottery contest’ waiting to speak on the phone to a receptionist, you are often met with ill mannered, short tempered staff who appear absolutely inconvenienced by your query. Despite requests to see a doctor regarding back and leg injuries following a fall through the attic hatch, I was informed I could only see a nurse. There was no physical examination - just listened to my chest to ensure my lungs were clear and I was told to take pain killers. A week later - in worse chest pain and unable to sleep without discomfort, I again requested to see a GP… again refused and told to see the nurse. No examination - and prescribed something to help me sleep. After 3 weeks, I’m left with damaged ribs, deep chest pain and a left knee still painful and swollen - and the feeling that Clarence Medical have lost interest in caring for someone who’s been with them since 1950. Apart from the fact it’s hard to see a GP I’ve had two bad experiences with Clarence Medical Centre! My first was with a Canadian doctor (no longer with the practice) who dismissed my depression out of hand when he thrust a piece of paper at me to list my mood! He then thrust a prescription at me that I told him I would be allergic to! He dismissed my concern & didn’t even look at me! I walked out in tears! My other gripe was with Dr Eve Blakemore who sneeringly questioned why I needed a grotesque infected skin tag removed from chest! I told her that I found it very embarrassing! After the 1 minute surgery she turned her back on me & said nothing & just left it to a nice polite nurse to see me out! I’ve been a patient of Clarence medical Centre for many years but it’s become so bad that I’ve felt compelled to register with another practice! I always liked Dr Lisa Williams! I found her to be a very good doctor - no nonsense but always polite & respectful! She’s the only reason why I’ve given the surgery an additional star!... (Show more)

Worst doctors by far ! Neglected me 2 times ! One I had a blood infection and got sent home ended up later in hospital ! 2nd time I’ve got chicken spots at 19 years old haven’t ate or drank for a day and been told they would call me back to get a messge saying u poor thing I’ll leave u a spray prescription to numb your mouth ! Isn’t good enough ! Oh and not to forget the time I seen your dietitian and was basically called fat and ugly ! Don’t waste ur time here... (Show more)

If I could rate it less I would. Absolutely shocking. Waited over a month for an appointment about two serious illness's just to be told they have only got time to deal with one so pick which one.

I have been registered at this surgery now for over three years and I seriously do not understand the negativity. I think people need to realise this is a surgery for the area and not a personal surgery for themselves. Whenever I have needed the surgery for myself, my wife or our children the response has been proportionate to the request and I find the staff more than helpful. Thank you for all your hard work.... Fabulous team of skilled health care professionals, never had anything but amazing care every-time I visit :)

All the staff here have always been extremely helpful an empathic. They have always tried to get me an appointment ASAP an are happy to answer any queries. I have never had problems with them. Many friends and family always complain of their own doctors surgeries locally.. Will never change surgeries.... (Show more)

Call at 0834. All same day appointments gone. Go to patches, a GP will get back to you within 24hours. Patches, come back at 12pm u less you want an administration form to fill in. Rediculous

I have today been seen by Dr K Verma. She was very friendly, considerate and explained clearly what the procedure involved together with any potential side effects. I found it a positive experience and wish all our GPs were so empathetic. Thank you very much. Anne McCaughey

I have been registered with Clarence Medical Centre Rhyl since the mid 90's and I have always received great medical care and advice from the centre's Doctors, Nurses & Health Care Assistants. I have also found reception staff very helpful & pleasant. Their Online Consultation service "PATCHS" is a modern & efficient way of communicating with the Doctors. I have used it on a few occasions, instead of calling the surgery and I think it is great! Many thanks to you all. Sean... (Show more)

Can never get through , if your later than 0831 you've had it . E consult is always off line , booking via internet is always off line ....an update. You can now register your place in line and get a call back via telephone, which is much more convenient than before. I've been successful in getting an appointment 90% of the time . You still have to be ringing at 830am precisely though . I've updated review, as they now have a call back and will keep your que place. Still have to be on the ball and nice and early though....
