2024 update: Niall recently helped me get back to strength and speed from a glute injury. The program he put in place for rehab worked excellently, and I now have specific S&C activities in my training schedule from his guidance. Can't stop the ageing, but thanks to Chelmsford Physio I feel I can keep as strong and healthy as ever. 2016: I'm a competitive runner, and Jon has helped me to overcome several sports injuries. I found his approach to treatment and rehabilitation to be refreshingly positive and well-informed. In each of my cases he has not only provided hands-on treatment, but also identified suitable exercises for recovering from the injury and returning to training/ competing quickly. Jon is genuinely interested in the sports that his clients do and understands how to strengthen the injured area to lower the risk of future injury. He also provides great insight into training techniques in general. I totally recommend Chelmsford Physio.... (Show more)

Ryan has been looking after my teenage son's back injury and has been excellent at providing clear information on the causes of the problem and identifying the type of injury. He has provided a sensible rehab program, with clear instructions on a rest phase and subsequent strengthening exercises, which is showing improvements to the injury. Thank you.... (Show more)

Attended Chelmsford Physio after Achilles and haglands removal surgery. Matt has been great giving easy to do exercises but enough to push recovery and getting me towards full recovery way earlier than I expected. Great motivation and clear explanations of goals. Have to say after using many physios over the years the best I’ve had yet. He has pushed me without causing me to over do things and the least painful physio I’ve ever had (and I’m definitely in double figures!)... (Show more)

I was recently treated by Jon for a AC joint problem. Jon was understanding and used his considerable expertise to improve both mobility and strength in my shoulder. I would definitely recommend Chelmsford Physio and particularly Jonathan McComish for any Physiotherapy.

I've been seeing Matt for a while about my knee. He is far and away the best physio I have worked with, he listens, is incredibly knowledgeable and sets challenging excercises which suit me but are worth completing. I highly recommend.

I was seen by Niall at Chelmsford physio for some underlying persistent niggles. He performed a vigorous assessment & put together a programme for me to build some strength. Niall is friendly & very professional. Would highly recommend.

Great physio. I have been seeing Jon for a long time & always feel very confident in his expert advice & treatment. A monthly maintenance session keeps my back supple & manageable. Great place to get treated.

Matt has been really great with my ACL recovery he always makes sure I understand everything fully and gives me a detailed plan of our rehab until our next appointment together. Matt is very a knowledgeable physio and I would recommend him to anyone especially if you have an ACL injury.

I've been seeing Jon McCormish for a couple of unrelated issues and would highly recommend him - really helpful and keen to help his clients out.

Mark Boardman - a year ago - Review Provided by Google Maps

I’ve seen Matt for two separate issues in the last 12 months or so (slipped disc in my lower back and a torn knee ligament) and can honestly say he is an outstanding physio. Very competent and knowledgable with an enthusiastic approach to treatment and recovery. Matt’s very responsive to any questions / advice required outside of booked sessions which is really refreshing. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Matt. He’s a brilliant physio. Thanks for all your help Matt!... (Show more)
