This allows us to shed light on several important details regarding your last visit. Regarding your waiting time: We're sorry you had to wait. Dr. Rumyantseva Mathey often sees patients with complex problems that have not been resolved by other specialists. She is also a dermatologic surgeon, so when the need for surgery arises during an appointment, the Doctor performs it. On the day of your visit there were two surgeries that she had to carry out urgently because they were melanoma (potentially lethal) which needed to be operated on as quickly as possible. It was not planned. This patient initially came simply for an annual check on the progress of his moles. Compared to syringes: The syringe you took a photo of (green in color) has a special graduation and can be used not only for injections, but also for measuring non-sterile liquid products (for example: cosmetic peels and serums for electroporation). That's why the syringe was on the table. The Doctor never uses it for injections since it does not have a needle attachment. 30 cm away there is a special container for sharp objects that have been in contact with blood (it is a yellow box). It is logical to assume that after a full day of work as a doctor performing injections and surgeries, a lot of used equipment could have accumulated. However, there were none anywhere else in the room and we are extremely rigorous in respecting health rules. Regarding the gloves you described as "dirty": The Doctor came out into the corridor to warn you that the previous appointment was coming to an end, that the room was free and that she would soon see you. She was actually wearing gloves that she had used to perform an antiseptic treatment of the bed (= cleaning the examination bed) after the previous patient's visit. You probably noticed that these were not sterile gloves used for invasive procedures. In addition, she obviously changed her gloves before receiving you... As for the staff who work with the Doctor: All staff members have undergone specialist training and their employment contract contains a clause not to disclose patient information.
