Freedom without glasses, finally!!! I had my eyes lasered using the “Smile Method” on July 31st and had my last follow-up examination today. From the video consultation to the procedure and the subsequent examinations, the whole process was very pleasant and uncomplicated. The whole team is super nice, explains the individual examinations on the devices and is always available to answer any questions. The procedure by Dr. Taneri passed super quickly and completely painlessly. Even after the operation there was no pain. I would recommend the team and the Smile method to everyone. The Center for Refractive Surgery in Münster with Dr. Taneri consistently do an outstanding job every day. From day 1 to the last check-up, I always felt that I received above-average professional and trustworthy advice and treatment. I came to the center with 5 diopters and the desire to have laser surgery. The first point of contact through a video consultation was very helpful in getting initial information and getting to know each other. It was also practical that I didn't have to be there at first. After the first intensive eye examination on site, it turned out that I was clearly advised against laser treatment due to an unstable cornea. Nevertheless, the team of Dr. Offer Taneri an alternative treatment: a lens implantation. This was initially a change for me as I had expected laser treatment to be carried out. It was explained to me in detail what was done during this treatment and how I decided to do it straight away. After a few months the time had come and I was able to have surgery. The team and Dr. Taneri looked after me extremely well and were available at any time to answer any questions or uncertainties. I don't think I could have felt better cared for. The operations went fabulously and I was able to see in both eyes on the day my second eye was operated on. This moment was so overwhelming for me that I cried. I've been wearing glasses since I was 4 years old and the feeling of being able to see perfectly without glasses or contact lenses after the second operation is indescribable. Now I have over 100% vision and couldn't be happier. I can recommend the Center for Refractive Surgery with Dr. 100% recommend Taneri with all my heart. I would do it again and again. Absolutely the right decision for vision correction with the Smile procedure. Great advice, extensive preliminary examinations in order to be able to weigh up all the options and, above all, the practice was a place to feel good! I read up on laser eye surgery on this practice's homepage and noticed that two of the four new positive reviews here on Google last week were obviously written by the doctor's employees. I think that seems dubious and misleading. The first impression counts for me. I'll get lasered somewhere else.

After years, I decided to have my eyes lasered and came across Dr Taneri. Very quick, uncomplicated appointment scheduling and nice staff. Dr Taneri also makes you feel very comfortable and well informed. No worries before or during the procedure, I can only recommend it.

I thought for a long time whether I should have my eyes lasered. Now my SMILE treatment is with Dr. Taneri about 2 months ago and I'm happy every morning to be able to start the day without glasses. I had a cross linking done in my right eye at a university clinic a long time ago. The epithelium was then removed with a scalpel. In April 21 I had the cross linking done on my left eye with the LASER here at the center. The difference is like night and day. The center for refractive surgery is absolutely modern and well equipped. All employees are friendly and know what they are doing. The operation with laser is much shorter and “more pleasant” than the variant with a scalpel. The biggest difference is in the days after surgery. The healing process is much faster and less painful (the first few days are still extremely uncomfortable, but just days instead of weeks). My eye was barely swollen.
