Dr Nicholas O'Kane
Since qualifying 10 years ago from one of the UKs top schools Dr OKane has made it his objective to provide the kind of care he would ideally like to receive as a patient. This has involved constant post graduate training in the most up to date and ethically correct treatment available, with his main interesting now lying in the field of orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. His career highlights to date were introducing the Inman Aligner to Ireland, and more recently traveling to Brazil recently to study with the world renowned Dr Newton Fatal Jr, where he completed the 6 day "Master of Composite Artistry" course.

I started working as a Dental Nurse 11 years ago in New York, where I went to college and qualified. After working in the same practice for 4 years which specialised in Oral Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry I returned to Ireland and became Head nurse in a large Dental practice for 4 years after taking some time out I returned to work in Redmond and Molloy now Castlemill Dental Clinic where I have been for the last 2 years. During my 11 years as a Dental Nurse I have gained experience in Orthodontic treatment as well as Oral Surgery, I have also furthered my education and become certified in CPR and cross infection sterilisation and gained training in Oral sedation.

I'm surprised to see anything less than five stars. I've been going there for years and I've always been welcomed and looked after to the highest standards. Highly recommended and appreciated.
Dr Nicholas is an absolute genius, his knowledge is incredible so professional and caring too. Can't stop smiling since my app yesterday, he has fixed a problem that I've been left with from another Dental Clinic. Brought in for appointment today at 11am I waited for months for to be then checked in and left waiting in waiting room to later be told hygienist of with kids as midterm also lied rang me few times no such thing secretary is extremely unprofessional and rude no even apology definitely going elsewhere in future... The dentists are very good and very professional. Hey do excellent work.
Dr. Kane and his staff treated me like family right from the start. The difference at Castlemill is that they truly care, ask all the right questions and to help you feel at ease while reaching your goals. When my regular dentist could not treat my issue sufficiently, Dr Kane stepped in with his vast knowledge and impressive continuing education and knew what needed to be done to get to the root of the problem. Would definitely not recommend this clinic. From its grubby appearance,poor time keeping,rude staff and even ruder dentist,I would advise giving this place a wide berth!!
After reading the last few reviews I feel like I need to speak of the utter most professionalism I experienced today. Castlemill is absolutely spotless and I was greated with a smile from the girls behind the desk. The dentist that treated me was friendly, and walked me through everything that he was doing and I felt quite at ease. I couldn't recommend this practice any more. I'm back up in a few weeks and I feel so comfortable knowing I'm in good hands. 👍... (Show more)
Beautiful practice... very clean and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly. I couldn't fault Dr O'Kane - he was gentle, informative and competitively priced. I would highly recommend this practice.
Horrible experience, left me in floods of tears.
I began my appointments with Nick over 2 years ago. It was several years since I had been to any dentist and I just did not know where to start. From the moment I met Nick and the team I felt at ease and confident that I was in the best of care. Nick is a complete expert and visionary in his field, not to mention a perfectionist. I trusted him fully with every step of the process and committed myself to this wonderful clinic. I received numerous extensive treatments including crown, implant, extractions and orthodontic treatment. It was the best decision I ever made and I am over the moon with my lovely new smile and healthy teeth. An absolute credit to the dental profession and asset to any patient who is in a position to choose this clinic.... (Show more)

Excellent service from Dr. Nicholas O'Kane and his team. They are highly professional and friendly at the same time. Dr. Nicholas, always goes the extra mile for his patients and provides the highest standard of care. My eldest daughter and I currently have 'damon braces' and we are seeing excellent results only after a few months of having them fitted. Dr. Nicholas although a general dentist is also a specialist in orthodontics and has attended courses world wide to train in the most advanced treatments. He believes in techniques such as the 'Franklin brace' to expand jaws instead of teeth extraction that makes the mouth smaller and changes the face. My youngest daughter wore the latter for 6 months at night and she now doesn't need any teeth removed for her next stage of 'damon braces' to straighten her teeth. Probably one of the worst dentist I’ve ever been to I do not recommend what’s so ever. I was told at the start I would have braces on for 8 months to a year , it has now been over 2 years with them on and they have caused nothing but problems for me. They break every easily , countless cuts in my mouth which stops me from eating food , they have put literal holes in my cheek causing so much pain. Do not recommend this dentist... (Show more)

Been going to this dentist for nearly 5 years and love it. Nick and all the girls working there are so nice and welcoming and amazing at what they do. Couldn’t recommend them anymore and couldn’t be happier with my teeth thanks to Nick and the girls.
Outstanding dentist, I have had implant and root canal along with other work done here. I dread other dentists and highly recommend Nicholas and his team. Coincidentally happens to be the best value by quite a margin too.
