Very pleased to have found this place and, after my first treatment, count myself very lucky too. The receptionist when I went was lovely - as if she was genuinely glad to see me! The dentist was very professional, and also kind, gentle and reassuring and I knew I was in good hands. The problem tooth was identified immediately. I'd been to an emergency dentist a few days prior who declined treatment because she couldn't work out which tooth it was. I'd recommend the Smile Centre to anyone looking for an excellent dental surgery because that's exactly what it is! excellent all round.... (Show more)

I've been coming here for must be over 10 years and they have always been great. Ben is friendly and a great dentist. I would highly recommend. I was surprised to see some of the reviews here which is why I felt compelled to let people know I've never had a problem.

Went to the dentist today and was told that I couldn’t see the doctor that I wanted and was told that if I don’t like it to leave. I was treated with disrespect from the receptionist, never in my life would I recommend anyone to go to them if you don’t want a bad service. I wish I could give them zero stars but unfortunately I can’t.... (Show more)

My son has a loose tooth and severed nerve. The dentist (Saira) seemed absolutely clueless as to how to treat this and refused to refer us to the hospital. She did refer us to an orthodontist because "this is what you do for teens" (her words). That was a waste of time and the ortho was clueless as to why we had been sent. Saira then gave conflicting advice on my son's treatment plan: He will have the tooth extracted, get a temporary denture, then an implant 12 months later; No, he will get no temporary denture but a permanent denture 12 months later (12 months with no tooth!); No, he will get a temporary denture then a permanent denture after 12 months. When questioned about the changes Saira talks nonsense about NHS limitations, blames the dental practices own policies or denies what was previously discussed. This resulted in us walking out mid appointment as she changed the treatment plan with my son in the chair after having an injection!... (Show more)

Would never recommend this place to anyone. I cracked two molars on the right side of my mouth and Ben Omovie insisted I have them out instead of repaired. Whilst I was in the chair he called someone in between working on me and was looking and poking around the left of my mouth. I tried to indicate that it was the right side that had the teeth he was meant to be looking at. He extracted two perfect molars on my left while I had tears running down my face, shaking and trying to get his attention. He left me with the two cracked teeth which I ended up having out a couple of weeks later. This person stole my teeth and has left me with no lower molars. DO NOT go to this dentist if you are looking to keep your good teeth.... (Show more)

Absolutely vile service, lady at reception refused me being able to speak to a manager, she hung up the call on me while I was in the middle of speaking and she left the line on hold so I couldn't get back through when trying to call. They have allowed someone to make and miss an appointment for myself that I never booked and now they won't see me saying I've missed an appointment when I did not make this appointment!! What kind of professional business is being run here. A manager should be available at all times and the staff should not hang up on people because they're in the wrong and can't handle the situation or answer my questions about a manager... I was terrified of dental treatment before going to Ben O’Movie about thirty years ago. He is always so kind and understanding and I am no longer afraid whilst in his care.

I have been with this surgery for years, having been quite phobic originally, Mr, Omovie has helped me overcome that. I have had gum treatment, crowns, two extractions mildly sedated. He always puts me at ease. His receptionist is lovely and welcoming whilst always professional. They keep a very clean clinic too. Not changing them anytime soon.... (Show more)

Absolute waste of time. Went for a check up. The dentist lady didn't even check me properly. I opened my mouth she took a peep and that was it. Took 2 secs. Will not recommend or ever go there again.

As a person who suffers with mental health and panic attacks to be told to breath when I'm panicking by this dentist... Clearly don't no much about mental health.. Never will I go back there.. The other dentist that was there was better
