Most enquiries of our patients are regarding to porcelain crowns and bridges so there goes summarized info: during a vacation of 6/7 days we can make and adapt porcelain fused on metal crowns or bridges, and still have time to make corrections before departure back home. Other popular service is full dentures; we can abbreviate the process of a denture or set of dentures and get it done by the second day, so we have several days in case that it needs corrections. We work under the same basis to perform other ceramic treatments such as veneers and ceramic (metal less) crowns. Implants are usually set and there is no pain or inflammation, however we have to do an accurate study to be sure you are candidate for an implant. Implants typically take 2 stages, stage one or "surgical stage" is the placement of the titanium cylinder in the bone; it needs a period of between 2 and 8 months to "integrate" with the bone. A second trip to adapt the porcelain crown or second stage is necessary. Front teeth need a temporary tooth during the "integration" period of time. This temporary can be attached to the implant with a plastic abutment, or a flipper tooth can be adapted. -------- If you already have the implants and want to get the second stage or "Prosthetic" stage completed, we'd need you to gather all the information about the implant so we can inform before you travel; we are not always able to provide this service since there is a big number of implants brands, some of them not available in Mexico. Root canal therapy can be done and post and crown adapted during a 6/7 days visit to Cabo. Periodontal treatment is performed by a specialist in periodontics, some treatments are such as deep cleaning and root scaling. All 4 quadrants can be done in 1 session, unless you prefer to breach it in several sessions. Pain. This is a common issue because many patients have delayed, even years to get his or her dental treatment finished. Others have already visited the dentist several times even in a regular basis, however experience a logical phobia to dental treatment. We try to make all treatments, beginning for the anesthetic injection painless, a root canal, filling or surgical treatment start only when it is numb for real. To our surprise, very often patients communicate us, after the treatment are completed that the main issue has been "no pain" over the quality of their new teeth.
