Brussels Eye Center

From the other experiences shared here, I see that I am not the only customer who received an incorrect prescription following an eye exam at the Brussels Eye Center. Neither the staff nor the doctor admitted their fault, no apology, no refund. Wasted time and money.

I had corrective eye surgery, which went perfectly well and improved my life considerably. I can highly recommend Dr Assaf and the team for their professionalism and kindness.

Dr Assaf operated my high myopia (-15dpt) in 2015, with ICL. A life-changing surgery. I can only recommend him, for his professionalism, and also kindness. The whole team has been committed and very friendly at every visit.

I had surgery for myopia and astigmatism by Doctor Assaf in March, I waited to have a little perspective before giving my opinion. Top. I regret not having done it sooner. 2 ophthalmologists and 1 employee refused to accept that I was hyperopic even though I have been hyperopic since I was 9 years old. I was told it was impossible and refused to give me a prescription for this problem. I also received a VERY wrong prescription for my astigmatism AND myopia. Not at all professional place. It costs a lot of money to then have to go and do a real quality exam elsewhere. Never set foot there.... (Show more)

After a long waiting time for an appointement, I finally got one. but then this one was just cancelled without any information or explication and without further proposition date. For me it is clear that this is not serious and another specialist to be contacted

I went to the Brussels Eye Center for a pre-operative consultation before a (potential) Lasik procedure. I was quite surprised by the lack of professionalism of certain members of the team in charge of the first exams who seemed not to know what they were doing (trainees?): error in saving the exam results in the file, we asked me 3 times my name and my date of birth, the team discussed my case among themselves in front of me speaking in the 3rd person singular as if I were a child, ... In short, I didn't really feel not confident about the reliability of the tests carried out given the obvious inexperience of certain people in charge of the analyzes (others seemed much more professional fortunately!). I had already been for a check-up 2 and a half years ago. So I went there a second time because I felt that my eyesight had really deteriorated abnormally. 10 minutes of appointment without really checking my eyesight, even though that is the main reason for my coming. The calculations are based on the computer and my previous visit. I share the fact that I came for a specific reason and that these calculations do not seem normal to me. But I am assured that there is no need to do tests, the “machine” takes care of everything… result: I had to have my eyes checked again, my vision at -2.25 instead of 0 .75 as I was told, I had to pay twice for glasses at an optician for a mistake... even though it could have been avoided.. 65€ for 10 minutes of consultation, I would have liked to be listened to and have my opinion be considered. Nice staff, nurse and doctor. Everything seemed professional and nothing done too quickly. Appointment can be taken online, if I could I would give extra star for that.

I had the operation done by Doctor Assaf, and I am happy with my choice: you couldn't fall into better hands! What he does with limitless patience borders on the miraculous.

I went there for a simple check-up appointment. Ophthalmologist (Ms. Vilain) professional, very friendly and attentive. In the center itself: health measures respected and temperature taken at reception. Friendly staff.

My husband and I were there today for a full check and we received an outstanding service! I strongly recommend this place, we got an appointment really soon, we were received with punctuality and the doctor was not only super professional but also nice and warm.

I had eye surgery to treat my myopia (I wore glasses at around -4) After a pre-operative appointment, I had my appointment for the LASIK operation just 1 month later. The operation went very well and I have 12/10 vision the next day even though my eyes are not yet completely stabilized.
