Dr Mei Tan
Dr. Mei graduated from University of Queensland in 2013 with Honours. After working in Private Practice for several years Mei is looking to settle in Brighton as her “Dental Home” – that is – Mei is planning on being here long term. Mei enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strives to deliver quality dental care in a genuine manner to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. Mei also believes in a preventative and integrative approach to dentistry.

Dr Ken Chen
Dr Ken graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009. Born in Taiwan, his family moved to Australia when he was five years old. He has lived most of his life in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Dr Ken strongly advocates that “laughter is the best medicine”. He believes by developing good a sense of humour; we can all use laughter to improve our physical, mental and social well-being. Watch out for his famous “dad” jokes, as they might bring adverse effects. Dr Ken has special interests in oral surgery, TMJ pain treatment, and dental sleep medicine. Outside of dentistry, Dr Ken enjoys playing tennis, working at the gym, trying out new restaurants and watching movies (especially comedy, how did you guess?).

This is the best service I have received from any dentist! I have anxiety and found the team were amazing with being very attentive and aware of this. Dr Ken was up to date with the latest procedures and evidence based approaches. I had an issue with my nerve in my tooth which was fixed quickly and very effectively. I was lazy and didn’t go to the dentist for nearly 4 years. I also started to worry that I would need lots of work so procrastinated. A year ago I bit the bullet and went in for a check up. I went for my 2nd 6 month check up today and am very happy to have got back in to a routine. Brighton dentist is great - I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I'm happy with my whole family's experience with Brighton Dental Suite. All of the staff are friendly, the surgery is modern and I never have trouble finding parking, which is a bonus. From the moment I walked in, the experience was great. Very polite and friendly Shontelle at the front desk and then Vinessa and assistant Tori were fabulous. Vinessa talked me through the xrays and photos of my teeth and gums and clearly explained everything. She has a lovely manner and is obviously very knowledgeable. amazing practice! walking in i felt welcomed and appreciated by the receptionists. dr mei was kind and took the time to explain things. the dental assistant kaitlin was spectacular also. overall great experience and would recommend to anyone!
Amazing Dentists. Dentists that listen to you, no judgement and full of the friendly professional advice. All the staff are so professional and fantastic with the younger generation. You really feel part of the family when you come to the surgery.
I have to admit for a dentist you won’t find a better one. No one likes visiting the dentist but these guys really make the visit as painless as possible, very informative, reasonably priced & look after you while you’re in the chair. Thank you

My first visit was today and definitely worth the wait ! I had to have a broken tooth repaired and Dr Mei was brilliant. Extremely thorough and she explains everything to you before she does anything ! A very good job and looks great - no pain at all. Mei is amazing! I (like most people) am not a great fan of the dentist. Mei was extremely patient and gentle with me. She talked me through everything that she was going to do before she did it, so that there were no unpleasant surprises for me, and the whole experience was a painless one. The staff are lovely too and make you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in the door. Mei and her staff made my overall experience a very pleasant one.
