Highly Recommended to all expats and locals in Seoul. Impressive enough, he holds both US and Korean licenses. Visited his office for my yearly regular dental checkup and teeth whitening consulting. He gave me a very kind, detailed explanation on how the treatment will be done and its expected improvements, which really helped me to make a wise decision to make my teeth brighter. This is one of the best dental clinics I've ever been to in Korea. I went to do cleaning and fillings. All the staff members were kind and friendly. You won't struggle as a foreigner, everything was communicated in English. I will definitely be coming back to do more work on my teeth.
Such welcoming and accommodating people! The prices are fair even without national insurance. Most employees speak English, and the main dentist speaks English well.
I see so many good reviews and do admit that the dentist is a good talker and seems nice, but the clinic is a conveyor factory. There were 3 other patients at the same time and he was just going back and forth from one room to other. He did my two fillings in less than 5 minutes. Which could be "wow, he is so fast" or "wow he just slaps the filling in there and is gone" . One of the teeth I did, is constantly hurting when chewing on that side even months after.... (Show more)
Have been here multiple times for cleanings and regular checkups and always been very pleased with the service. The clinic is clean and the reception staff and Dr. speak perfect English! Highly recommended.

I have been to Bright Dental Clinic three times now. Dr. Koo is the second dentist I have tried in my 6 years in Korea and the best. His clinic is clean and both he and the front desk staff speak English. They respond promptly to appointment requests. I first went two times for a chipped tooth, which he repaired beautifully. The third time was for a cleaning. It was my first cleaning in Korea. At the end of my appointment, I pointed out that when I am in the US and have a cleaning, I get to choose a fluoride polish flavor of mint or other options that leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. Dr. Koo only had unflavored, and offered me a swish of Listerine with a few samples to take home. The experience was different, but I don't expect it to be exactly the same as home. Then, to my surprise, Dr. Koo went above and beyond. I had an email from him that night saying he went ahead and ordered mint and fluoride pumice/polish so it will be available next time I come. I was touched that he genuinely listened to my remarks and even took steps to make it better for the next visit. I am very satisfied with Bright Dental and would not go anywhere else in Korea.... I made an appointment with Dr.Koo. I went in for the first time to check if my gum is swollen because I'm in pain. Dr.Koo wasn't at the clinic today per my reservation. I saw a different doctor. She checked for literally a minute with her little English translated through the clinic staff and charged me for KRW 50,000, prescribed, and told me to come back again to see Dr.Koo. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK TO THIS CLINIC AGAIN. What a rip off! I will inform US Tricare about the service here. That's all I have to say... (Show more)
I am very satisfied with my cavity and whitening treatment I received here! The staffs were welcoming and Dr.Koo friendly explained me about my condition before the treatment. I will visit the clinic again when I am back in Korea.

I’m from the U.S., teaching at an international school here in Korea. I needed some dental work done, so apprehensive. A co-worker referred me to Bright Dental Clinic, I went and had three teeth filled, it was a great experience. Every procedure was better than in the U.S., his staff is excellent, he is the best. Best service I have experienced in Seoul. I needed to have cavity treatment done and had visited several other clinics both in the Gangnam and Gangbuk areas before settling on Bright Dental. The primary reason for my choice was because Dr Koo didn't try to 'upsell' any unnecessary procedures. In fact, after a much more thorough assessment, he was able to find a cavity that needed more urgent treatment that the other clinics hadn't even spotted. Highly recommended.... (Show more)
Speaks English very well, very nice. I paid 20,000 won for a consultation and x-rays! without having any type of insurance. The doctor I saw was very reassuring and professional. And for French speakers, of course the doctor doesn't speak French but English very well, very kind and she took the time to answer my questions. I got a cleaning and whitening, but am a little disappointed. The cleaning was bad. I ended up going to the dentist in my home country just because it free and the doctor there said it looked like I hadn't gotten a cleaning at all. So not worth the money there and I wish I could ask for a refund. The whitening was fine and the price is great, no complaints there (she covers your face so I didn't know what was happening most of the time and it was a bit painful so I would've appreciated an explanation while she worked), but the whitening was great overall.... Its been a 5 star experience since i stepped into Dr. Wan's clinic. Although i only had a simple crowning procedure but i love the experience and will certainly visit again if i needed any other kind of dental help in the future.
I had two crowns and cavities filled and a whitening treatment. Dr. Koo was awesome, totally expert and professional Tuft's all the way. Awesome. Staff so nice. Everyone speaks English, but really we should speak Korean, it's Seoul not the US. Let's start with " Fantastic
