Dr Kelsey Syme
She grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She attended the University of Alberta where she enjoyed her studies and obtained a degree in Immunology and Infection. Prior to continuing on to dental school, Dr. Syme took a 2 year break from her education to explore life outside of academia. In that time, she gained rewarding life experience; working as a caregiver in an Alzheimer’s nursing home, a nanny for 2 small children in the Canary Islands and as a tourist traveling around the globe.
As someone who is very fearful of the dentist, I did a lot of research before choosing Briar Hill. I read so many glowing reviews, especially ones that said they work very well with people who are afraid and with children. I am so pleased I found this clinic, everyone is so friendly and kind. The cleaning was quick and not as painful as I had imagined. My dentist was very knowledgeable, caring and honest. I was able to take care of cleaning, a chipped tooth, my TMJ problems, and more in just one session. I even opted out of the sedatives and needles as I was made to feel so comfortable. They offer whitening for life, and gave me a complimentary, very expensive electric toothbrush! Definitely recommend this clinic.... (Show more)
My family and I have been getting our dental care from Briar Hill Dental for many years. Dr. Syme and her team are professional, passionate, and skilled. You would be hard pressed to find a friendlier or better run dentistry.

I love the team at Briar Hill Dental. I have had some complicated dental needs as of late and they really provided excellent care. I recently moved from briar hill to the SW but I still come to Briar Hill Dental!
I'm always very happy with the service I receive here. The receptionist, hygienist, and dentist are kind and helpful and do a great job. I have now moved out of the Briar Hill area but still go out of my way to come back here for my appointments because of the great service!
