Absolutely FANTASTIC service! Highly professional, accommodating to appointment hours needed for foreign patients and great follow-up service! Have had dental work done over 3 years (and a lovely holiday each time). What would have cost me £14 000.00 at a private dentist in the UK has cost me €4 000.00 and BETTER service as well as quality of service! PS. DR. Besas speaks SUPER ENGLISH so do not be concerned PLUS he has the patience of a saint!... (Show more)
Excellent professional.
An update on my previous review is that I stayed longer in Thessaloniki to complete the root canal treatments and crowns. Totally painless in the expert hands of Dr Besas. He takes time to explain procedures and is so calming and reassuring throughout the dental treatment. I also have a complex implant to be done in a couple of months and as Dr Besas is a specialist dental surgeon in this field, I absolutely have no concerns whatsoever in this regard and I'll definitely be travelling back to Thessaloniki for this. Also, you will be very pleasantly surprised by costing compared to UK! Special mention is the dental nurse is also fantastic, calming, and professional. Highly recommend!... (Show more)
While on holiday from UK , I needed urgent dental treatment as I have vertical fractures and part of my tooth sheared/ split alongside the filling. Dr Besas gave advice and recommendations and in my case an option was a temporary filling to be followed up with a crown. At this visit a pain-free temporary filling. Crown or the best longer term solution is an implant but timing was not on my side. He is a specialist implant surgeon so he would 100% be my choice for this procedure. My experience at the surgery was professional from start to finish and Dr Besas is fantastic in terms of putting you at ease. You're in the hands of a master. I highly recommend .... (Show more)
Worthy! Exudes confidence and has an aura of kindness! With my first visit to the office, I felt at ease. With rare patience and impeccable professionalism, he immediately found a solution to the problem I am facing regarding my phobia towards injections.
I travelled from Northern Europa and found this dental clinic by chance. After an initial visit, which I found assuring, my inquiry with local friends in Thessaloniki confirmed that it is the best dental clinic in town. It is a service of great care, all steps are well explained and questions clearly answered. The facility is of an excellent standard. I have completed the first step of an implant tooth which went exactly as it was discussed prior and without any complications. Excellent doctor, very reassuring, explained the situation to me simply and comprehensibly and inspired me with confidence. He received me right on time for my appointment without any delay, he took his time and the cost of the visit was very reasonable. My experience was flawless.
I found this dentist very professional and helpful. Great advice going forward. Also I was able to reschedule appointment with no problems. I would definitely recommend as well worth it.

I had a case that needed to be changed, because due to poor construction it irritated the gum, and I preferred this particular dentist to change it, but in the end I was not satisfied. At first he charged me 200 euros for the case (porcelain) and 50 euros for the treatment of gingivitis, but later I discovered that on the doctor anytime website the prices he charged were 180 and 40 euros respectively, for those who made an appointment through this service . Those of you who choose this doctor should keep in mind that there is a different charge for each patient so that you don't feel like you were cheated, since the dentist is not going to inform you of such a thing. In addition, the case was initially completely flat and I couldn't chew well, it was also narrow in relation to the back teeth and too squared off to the point where it created a sharp edge and cut my tongue. At my request, it was sent back for repair and when it was refitted, while it initially seemed fine, I have now gradually started to have discomfort, which I didn't have before, and I am initially looking to consult another dentist and, if the symptoms persist, to change it. In general I feel that the quality of services did not live up to the high charge. Edit 20/02/2020: After I posted the review, and even though I visited another dentist I couldn't find what was wrong. The x-rays were clear and I decided to leave it at that and ignore it as much as possible. The tooth continued to hurt for about three/four months and suddenly it stopped. Since then and to this day it has not bothered me again, to the same extent, and I chew without much problem. It's not perfect because I feel a little discomfort in the gum when chewing but I feel that I have wronged this particular doctor and am revising my rating upwards to 3.5 stars although it is still far from 5.... I live abroad, but when I need a second opinion, I always rely on the deep knowledge of Dr. Enter dentistry. He has saved me from unnecessary operations and is always correct in his diagnoses.
Let me start by saying that the area of the clinic is aesthetically excellent and clean. My case needed a lot of follow-up. From the first visit, Mr. Besas gave me a global and clear picture of the state of my teeth and what we were going to do in order to correct my problem. Qualified dentist with a lot of valuable knowledge. After several visits, I can say that the condition of my teeth has improved tremendously. I highly recommend him. Very good dentist, completely professional, with latest generation machines. What stands out the most is the manner of his intervention. Thorough and painless.
I have trusted Dr. Besa for a variety of dental work in his modern and elegant office, from simple (cleaning, whitening) to much more complex (placement of implants in the aesthetic zone of the mouth) and I have been completely satisfied in every case. Dr. Bessas is careful and methodical in his work and explains in clear and understandable language the treatment options, their advantages and disadvantages, comfortably relying on his scientific competence. My case of placing the implants was quite demanding, due to simultaneous ongoing orthodontic treatment, limited space and the necessity of using a splint, and therefore required cooperation with my orthodontist and great precision. The result achieved by Dr. Bessas was almost completely painless and exceeded my expectations, both in terms of application and the naturalness of the shape and color of the implants.
