Along with utilising a full complement of pharmacological treatments for pain, Dr. Ravindran also performs a variety of injection treatments such as epidural, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency lesioning (rhizolysis), and sympathetic and peripheral nerve blocks guided by X-ray and ultrasound.Where appropriate, he can organise for Physiotherapy and Acupuncture which is provided at the Dunedin Hospital where the clinic is based.
