Hi there, So this is my story, I had a stye on my eye from Nov 2018 that got infected by Dec 2018. I went to the Care doc in Wicklow and they gave me antibiotics that cleared the infection up but not the stye. The taste then turned into a cyst and hard lump of flesh on my eyelid and a junior cyst beside it.. so therefore i had 2 cysts now. there was no pain from either so i just left it... eventually i went to the EYE and Ear Clinic after being referred by my doctor. After waiting all day in the Accident and emergency room they looked at my eye and confirmed it was a cyst and to Bathe it every day with hot compresses. This didn't work and eventually on April 1st after making an appointment with the Beacon Eye Rapid Access. I was seen by Dr Graeme Rogers, like a good doctor he said yes its a cyst jump on my table and lay back there he then flipped my lid inside and proceeded to drain the cyst... I am not going to lie the pain was excruciating but as it says it was rapid enough, now with both cysts drained of the mucus and gunge that was in them the eye is inflammed from the procedure itself but hopefully will be gone in a few days and I will be back to my sexy self! it was what i wanted done from the start...I feel this should be standard procedure even from the doctor I seen on my first visit. I mean they are doctors is this not minor surgery however thats another days conversation. but I was delighted with Dr Graeme Rogers and was delighted to have eventually had my cyst operated on and lets hope it clears and goes now....but it was what I exactly wanted in job done home.... would i recommend yes... my insurance covered it dont know how much it would cost paying cash, but this is the service I wanted. so yes i would recommend and I hope you find this review helpful, I also feel everybody should be able to avail of this service whether they have insurance or not... not neccessarily from the eye clinic as its a private clinic but from our state hospitals too... regards Niall... I was waiting for hours in the Eye and Ear hospital in great pain before I decided to call here. I got an appointment that day and was in and out in about an hour. The doctor was excellent and very thorough. I'll be going here again next time.

If I can rate without any stars this would be fair. The worst Eye clinic. Do not recommend as it is a waste of money. I went there and they prescribed my problem wrong and consequently they gave me the medications that left my eye without any change. I ended up going to Victoria Eye and Ear hospital and they said what I had was not effective for my eye conditions and they prescribed the right drops that made my eye much more better. BE CAREFUL!!!... (Show more)

Super service! I was in and out in and out in about an hour or so and felt really looked after. The clinic is small and private. The girl on reception and the girl doing initial tests made me feel really relaxed and at ease. Dr. Rogers covered every avenue.
