Dr Brian Clarke
Principal Dentist & Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry Dr Brian Clarke established Bayswater Dental Clinic over thirty years ago, offering patients state-of-the art dentistry along with excellent customer care. He qualified at Liverpool University and then furthered his career with postgraduate training in sedation, advanced restorative techniques and endodontics. Dr Clarke now also offers implants for tooth replacement, laser treatment to treat inflamed gums and micro-abrasion to prepare teeth for renewal. Recently, he has added the treatment of snoring to his range of specialties, often fitting the latest chrome based small appliances. Dr Clarke enjoys the challenges of the most difficult cases and is well known for his skills and for his caring approach.

Vahid Motahar: BDS (Lond), Bsc (Lond), MFDS-RCS (Eng)I qualified with distinctions in clinical dentistry from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas Dental Institute London in 2001, after completing my initial Bachelor of Science degree at Chelsea College London and further education at Royal London Hospital between 1990-1996. My vocational training was completed in Thornton Heath in 2002. I won the prestigious Paul Temple-Smithson Prize from London Deanery for my multidisciplinary clinical case presentation at the end of this year. I returned back to Guy’s Hospital as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery for one year and gained experience in dental surgical procedures. Also worked on the wards with patients recovering from their orthographic and cancer treatment. I have always aimed to get knowledge and experience in different fields of dentistry so I can provide my patients with the best possible care. I have been able to treat complicated restorative dentistry cases such as full mouth rehabilitations, root canal treatments, surgical procedures and treatment of patients with heavy tooth wear and jaw joint issues. Over the years, following hours of training and attending many courses, I developed more skills and interest in cosmetic dentistry, in particular “least invasive cosmetic dentistry”, Cad-cam systems and use of laser in surgical and cosmetic dentistry. I have successfully placed thousands of composite and porcelain veneers with excellent results and many happy patients as my reviews on internet testifies for it. In short term orthodontic treatments, to date, I have successfully completed hundreds of Invisalign cases, high numbers of Six month smiles and numerous cases of Simpli 5. Other related cosmetic dentistry including laser gum contouring and tooth contouring. The most valuable experience of my dental career is that, care and treat my patients as I would like to be treated myself. This is my philosophy for providing dental care and treatment.

Bayswater Dental Surgery saved me from toothache twice. After moving to London, I was worried it’d be difficult to find an NHS dentist. When the pain got too much last year, I found this place and they got me registered and sorted in a few days. The dentists are brilliant, the receptionists are the best. 100% recommended.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to. The surgery is spotless and so modern. Dr Raj is professional, brilliant and kind, felt completely at ease during my appointment . He takes time to explain everything. The hygienist Maria did a wonderful job and talked me through the treatment as she went along. Would highly recommend.
Had an appointment with Dr Shah to get a second opinion on a recent crown procedure. He was super helpful and was very patient with his explanation. As a result am feeling much more reassured and confident about next steps. The practice itself is very modern and state of the art. Really glad I’ve registered here! Lovely staff, very nice premises with a calming atmosphere. Dr Kang and Sara were great, I got good advice on keeping my teeth healthy and they feel so nice and clean now. Short waiting time, everything very well organised, all-round 5* experience.
Lost a filling, went in to have tooth refilled. A bit of roughening of the tooth and then it was filled. A quick and no fuss procedure. A year later filling has still not fallen out. I was treated by Dr Shah. Recommended.

After poor experience with my usual dentist, came here urgently because I needed to be seen for a chipped tooth and I will be sticking with and staying registered at this practise moving forward. I’ve been a patient at this surgery for around 4 years now and I have had nothing but good experiences. The team are professional, polite and accommodating and the quality of the dental care has been noticeably better than what I have received before coming here.
Booked to be seen even tho we’ve never been seen before Dr ray is amazing ordered same day appointment to be seen and told what’s wrong had great advice given and prescribed what was needed and next appointment was books fast and easy you can see why it’s busy in there as everyone that walked was greater and seen to fast one of those places we should all be members of... This dental surgery left me on all accounts in a lot of discomfort. I had a tooth that needed extraction. They did not entertain that. Besides on previous visits left me with a swollen lip that lasted on my very first visit for 10 days and after my second visit I was left for 7 days with a sore and swollen lip for a week.
