I have waited over a year to post this review in order to see the full extent of my Rhinoplasty and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr Ross is an extremely experienced surgeon and knew exactly what I wanted. He is down to earth, approachable and put me at ease. Danni who works in the clinic was exceptional in managing my bookings after I had to reschedule. Dr. Ross did an amazing job on my Rhinoseptoplasty surgery earlier this year. He is an easy-going doctor with a good sense of humour and is extremely skilled, professional and very experienced. I had a deviated septum and a rather large and unappealing nose, with a dorsal hump making me very self-conscious of my profile for years. During my first consultation with Dr. Ross he removed a mole I had on my nose, allowing the site to fully heal prior to surgery. At subsequent appointments Dr. Ross discussed with me how I wanted my new nose to look and explained what to expect during and post-surgery. The staff at Bayside Plastic Surgery are all lovely and helped arrange a surgery date for me without a long wait and at an affordable price. The morning surgery went very smoothly and I left the hospital a few hours later with plaster over my nose, which would be removed after two weeks. Initially I did have a fair bit of bruising and swelling around my eyes and cheeks and had to get lots of rest at home to recuperate. Applying cold compresses over my eyes really helped. After surgery I felt very congested and had a blocked nose (like with the flu) as is expected but about one week later I got my sense of taste and smell back and over time the sensation of touch also returned. Once the plaster was removed I could finally admire the craftsmanship Dr. Ross created by giving my nose a smooth bridge (goodbye bump!) and a more rounded, raised tip. I'm so happy with my new look! The road to recovery included using nasal sprays, oils and washes to irrigate the nasal passages and keep them clean, as well as frequent massages from the tip of my nose upwards to alleviate swelling. I have also been keeping away from the sun so that my skin heals well. With time my energy levels have increased and I was allowed to blow my nose again, wear sunglasses and return to normal life activities. I'm at the 6-month mark now and while the end result will take another 6 months to fully show, I couldn't be happier with my progress. It really is a learning curve as every month I noticed a small change in my nose for the better. Dr. Ross has given me more self-confidence and above all satisfaction with my appearance. My breathing has improved greatly over the last few months as well. Overall, I can highly recommend Dr. Ross for Rhinoplasty surgery to anyone considering it and am eternally grateful to him for the start of my new chapter.... (Show more)
AMAZING RESULTS… i’m six months post up and I could not be happier. My journey started many years ago however, I was never confident and this was a very big decision in my life until I found Dr Ross a bayside plastic surgery. Suffering the majority of my prime years with large uncomfortable breasts it was time to do something about it. Dr Ross was very informative gave me a lot of advice during my consultations with him before I made the decision to go ahead with breast reduction surgery. I don’t know why I waited so many years because my results are incredible I feel so confident having been a larger woman with a big breasts. My confidence has changed so much I honestly cannot bypass any reflections without stopping and admiring how amazing my body structure looks now. If you have been contemplating getting breast reduction surgery don’t hesitate make an appointment discuss your concerns and Dr Ross will make you feel at ease. This review comes purely from my experience and results. I was very pleasantly surprised at the minimal pain there after and discomfort that quickly bypassed I was lucky I only needed two weeks of recovery and I was back to work as normal. My scarring is very fine and is healing beautifully I can only imagine what it will be like when time passes you would hardly notice it. Once again I can’t express how important it is to finally find someone who understands your needs and what is right for your body make an appointment today you will not regret it. These guys from their staff, doctors and the surgeons are incredible! I put my carpel tunnel surgery off for years but am kicking myself now as the guys at Bayside plastic surgery made it such an easy and pleasant process. Rhinoplasty. I haven't had the surgery yet, but my whole consultation process was brilliant. I had a thorough and detailed consultation with the surgeon, then met with his secretary for costs and appointments, then had photo imaging done. Having visited another practice (which quoted me $12k more and I didn't even meet the surgeon), I found this experience to be less pretentious, more honest and realistic. Dr Ross was wonderful and I am extremely happy with my mini facelift. The administration/receptionist at Brighton was divine. So helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Dr Ross he is brilliant!
