Dr Richard A. Miller
Graduate of the University of Michigan, and received his medical degree at Michigan State University. He completed three years of dermatology training in association with Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida, which followed his completion of a rotating internship at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington, Michigan. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology and a Fellow of Distinction of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is the Dermatology Program Director of the Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine Residency program at Largo Medical Center, where he is active in the education of students, interns and residents from across the country.
Dr Michael E. Krutchik
Co-director of Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, is Board Certified in dermatology and has been in practice since 1993. Dr. Krutchik specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails as well as cutaneous surgery. Received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. After a one-year internal medicine internship at Humana Hospital of South Broward, he completed three years of dermatology training at Nova Southeastern University. He is Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University, Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology and is active in training dermatology residents at Largo Medical Center.
Dr David W. Dorton
Board Certified dermatologist who has been with Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery since August 1995. He specializes in diseases of the skin, hair and nails and his areas of expertise include cancer surgery, facial laser resurfacing, sclerotherapy, chemical peels, treatment for wrinkles and dermal fillers. Dr. Dorton received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida. He completed a rotating internship at Florida Hospital in Orlando and his residency in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at Gulf South Medical and Surgical Institute, New Orleans, Louisiana, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Dorton has advanced training by the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and has performed several thousand Mohs micrographic surgery cases.
Dr. David Esguerra & staff have been the best for my wife and self for several years now. We won't change and hope he won't leave either
The doctor and staff were great , they listen to all I had to say, I will go back and I would definitely recommend them!
I left a review earlier this week and deleted it because I was told my biopsies would be back and today when I called now they’re not. It’s now been over 3 weeks and still no results and apparently Bay Dermatology nor the incompetent lab they use seems to care. As one who has had multiple malignant melanomas waiting this long is not only frustrating, worrisome but also stressful. Not sure I will remain a patient once my results are in. The most incompetent doctor’s office I’ve ever dealt with.
I tried to schedule an appointment but they seem very uncaring of new patients needing surgery.
I went to this office last week and had to wait about an hour for an appointment. Once in the office , the Dr barely looked at me. Did not examine me, did not touch my skin but diagnosed me with psoriasis. He didn't run blood test. He have me no information on how to manage. He gave me free samples and sent me on my way. I had to learn about psoriasis on my own and it is a bit scary. This Dr did not care about me at all. It's sad. I now have to find a new one. He was rude, looked at me quickly, like he didn't want to take the time. The free samples he gave me and prescription is $1600 and most insurance don't cover it. He did not give me any other options. Again , no care for his patient's..or at least me. Advice..care.. tell patients how to manage. Horrible place. I will not be back. Next review will be to the BBB. I have never been treated like this. Doctor was quick, nice and straight to the point. He got me what I needed. Highly recommend!
I went to the Spring Hill office on June 7th and had a biopsy done on a spot on my forehead. I was suppose to hear the results in 7 to 10 days. I called on June 19th and was told the only person that could tell me the results left at 4:00 pm even though they are open until 5:00 pm. I hope it is negative?? I guess I will try again tomorrow.
👎. I made appt as a NEW patient. I was first appt of the day. Waited 40 minutes in waiting room listening to office staff eat breakfast and share vacation photos. 20 minutes in the exam room. Met new doctor who did a biopsy. 5 days later, which included Saturday and Sunday, I called to have stitches looked at and was told the doctor was no longer there. They said her last day was the day of my FIRST appt. WHY would you schedule a NEW patient with a doctor on their last day of employment. Simple stupidity! Office staff was confused why I told them I wouldn’t be back. They told me another doctor was taking her patients! Um, That’s NOT the point. Idiots!... (Show more)
Wow. Talk about a wait. I made an appointment months ago. I’m in waiting room. It’s been 1.5 hours since my appointment time. Still in waiting room without updates. If do go here only take early morning appointments if you want to be seen before dinner
The wait in the waiting room is aweful!! This is the second time I've waited for over an hour for my appt. If I'm suppose to be on time for my appt, the doc should have to be on time also!! Extremely frustrating!!
STAY AWAY, they will charge you double, once for the procedure and again for the follow up. We took in our daughter to remove a wart, we paid our co-pay of $75 and they charged BSBS $365. They didn't provide any after treatment care information EITHER. They advised us to come back in 2-3 week to check on it. We did and we were charged again for an office visit that took literally 5 mins and all the Dr did was look at it and said LOOKS GOOD. Also each time we were there they were 45 minutes late from the time of our appointment. Very unsatified and we will also dispute the second charge with BCBS. Thomas/Spring Hill, FL... (Show more)
If I could get zero Stars I would if you have nothing better to do then sit around and wait for a doctor the perfect place for you
Had an appointment pulled in the front of the building and got a phone call at the same time have to reschedule your appointment they waited till I was due there to reschedule finally they said the next day with another doctor they called back about an hour later and canceled that one if they don't have any doctors close the doors. This is not the first time with this organization. I wish I could go less than one star.... (Show more)
Had to have skin cancer removal on my nose and skin graphing, i was so overwhelmed the day of the removal, the staff in Spring Hill was so accommodating and reassured me everything was going to be o.k. so grateful for them all.
Amazing people
I just had squamous cell carcinoma removed from my left index finger by Dr. Esguerra and his assistant Racheal and had a wonderful experience. I drove from Land O Lakes to have this procedure and I am so happy I did. Dr. Esguerra explained each step and his staff checked in on us while we waited. I highly recommend the Spring Hill location and wear your sunscreen because you never know where skin cancer will show up.... (Show more)
After waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, they called two days prior to let me know they would have to get me rescheduled. Their next appointment was 3 weeks out. When I asked if that was the soonest, the person on the phone immediately got an attitude. I told her that I would just need to cancel and she hung up on me. Terrible customer service.... (Show more)
Bay dermatology did a fantastic job on removing the cysts from my face. I really appreciate the dr and staff for being caring and very gentle. Very friendly place. Awesome job dr swerdloff and nurses.
Absolutely great no waiting the doctors and staff are absolutely awesome I highly recommend the doctor and its staff
