Never accept Friday appointments because the odds they will cancel is there and you could be pushed back another 30+ days.

Dr. Dorten has been treating my skin cancer for over a decade. He is friendly and always thorough. I believe he is truly concerned about my care .5 stars for him.

Frustrating! Upon scheduling my first appt.for an All Body scan I was told Karen is particular about showing up on time. She was 60 minutes late taking me back. I'm back today as that scan didn't happen because she didn't have enough time. Now im sitting here waiting, undressed in a paper gown and have been waiting again. So far she's 25 minutes late...... Showed up for my appointment 30 minutes early like I was told. Got to my appointment and was told I didn’t have an appointment. While I was there employee said that I wasn’t in their system (found me later) and said that they were not taking any appointments. Bad experience and would not recommend.

I visited for a regular exam and during the exam the dr. found a small tick on the back of my knee. The bill was $300.00 JUST FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE TICK. My insurance paid for the visit. I called and advised that $300.00 was ridiculous and they said that they would talk to the dr. and let me know. Still got the $300.00 bill. I wrote them a letter disputing the charge and indicated what I would pay for AFTER I researched how much a tweezer cost along with disinfecting wipes and wrote a check. They cashed my check and continue to bill me the difference. I could have removed the tick for a lot less. In these tough times the fact that they are so inconsiderate and unwilling to budge on something that took probably 1 minute is completely ridiculous. BEWARE!!!!!... (Show more)

Typical medical office. Very friendly and helpful staff. Usually do not have a long wait in the patient waiting area.

Doctor prescribed a topical cream that as it turns out is not stocked by CVS and even if it was it cost almost $400, which I can not afford. Pharmacy tried to contact Homossassa office in order to prescribe reasonably priced alternative. I called twice and left messages, which no one ever returned nor did pharmacy ever receive an alternative. This was on a Friday and I had to leave town on Sunday for several weeks so consequently I did not have any remedy for my problem.... (Show more)
