I request everyone to not be fooled by the star rating of this place. I bought into it and booked an appointment. The Staff Rekha was gracious at first and booked me in. She also gave me a price for my treatment. The room inside wasn't very clean and treatment was below average. I received Shirodhara and a lot of oil ended up in my eye. They don't put a bunding thread on the forehead to prevent the oil flow into the eyes. Above all the oil used was of sesame seeds that was the height when I found out that they dont use Ayurvedic oil. The price they charge suggest that it would good quality ayurvedic oil but to my surprise it was cheap sesame seed oil. Lastly, my experienced worsened when the person who booked me in (Rekha) denied on the agreed price and charged me an extra 1000 rupees. I regularly visit Parmarth and know this place/people to be more gracious than the one's I met at Ayurvedic treatment centre. Please avoid this place.... (Show more)

My husband and I consulted Dr Maurya for Panchakarma and took the treatment for a week. He is highly experienced, very calm, composed and has a good sense of humour too. He listens and understands your entire situation and then makes a treatment plan accordingly. The staff is very well trained and welcoming. The entire experience was very pleasant. Excellent service by Mr Sunil in this Ayurveda Panchakarma center in Paramartha Niketan Rishikesh. He is very well trained in therapy techniques, very humble person, has good service attitude. I got treatment at hemadri Ayurveda center at parmarth Ashram and shanti makan also in Rishikesh under supervision of Dr M L Maurya. A very spiritual feeling obtained there during yoga and meditation . Ashram is situated near mountain and mango orchard with more oxygen in atmosphere and positive feeling.I am suffering from Arthritis.Therepist Renu and Rukmini gave therapy to me with a positive attitude and smiling face . I have been taking Nasya panchkarma treatment for my chronic sinusitis treatment since 4 days at the Hemadri Ayurveda, Parmarth Niketan Centre. For first 3 days, I was feeling little better post the treatment though it didn't helped in my cough but relieved me from sinusitis. Still I decided to continue till the time I am staying in the Ashram. So today when I called them for my visit as usual, they advised me to come late at 2pm instead of morning which was my regular visiting hours. I waited and then I got a call from the guy in the reception that they cannot accomodate me at that time and to visit at 5:30 pm. Now first point, I was in between a treatment process and took appointment the prior day for the next and Nasya ideally should not be performed during rains or evening. Still I went in the evening sharp 5:30 for my treatment as I was thinking to find some relief than nothing. They started the treatment at 5:40 and as they close at 6pm. They were trying to hurry up the entire process which messed up my situation more. I also came to know during the process that they accomodate a client at the time alloted to me at 2pm as she was paying for a higher package. I have got the panchakarma therapy for back pain, detoxification of whole Body and overall wellness of health, received therapy from Babloo and Sunil guided by Dr Maurya for 21 days. I was having arthritis of spine. After a lot of search I found this place. It's been more than 1 week after I returned home and feeling much much better. A lot of relief in pain and many other things like I noticed my skin and hair getting better day by day. I stayed their for 21 days and the experience was so good, the environment was relaxing and calming. The food was also so good. I loved the service of one of the staff, Renu, who did all my treatment and massage. And a lot thanks to Dr. Morya for your guidance. I will surely visit there again.... (Show more)

I had 3 days of 2 hour massages due to lower back problems. Sunil made my experience unique. The facilities are basic but he was great. They also offer a wide variety of services. I would love to back soon.

I did the Panchakarma treatment for 10 days and it was some of the best experiences of my life. One of the differentials in this treatment was undoubtedly Sunil's safe, patient and warm care. Went there on a friend's recommendation. Did the consultation and then 4 days of treatment. Sunil was my therapist and he was just fantastic. He was very skilled and friendly.
