Prof Mehmet Güler
He is a graduate of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He has completed his specialiaty at Başkent University Hospital and Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. He has been working as a faculty member of Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine at the Department of General Surgery. He has an experience in Digestive System Cancer Surgery, Breast and Thyroid Surgery. Since 2009, he has focused his work on Obesity Surgery. Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery is seen as his greatest professional practice orientation, but he also performs all kinds of laparoscopic operations in the abdominal region including closed gallbladder, closed reflux and closed inguinal hernia. He has been working at Medicalpark Antalya Hospital General Surgery Clinic since 2011. He received the Turkish Board of Surgery Certificate in 2001 and then he was recertificated in 2016. He has 14 articles published in scientific journals -most of them as the first author- and 32 papers presented in medical congresses. His scientific work has received 53 citations in international publications included in SCI and SCI-EXP, H Index:5. The number of vocational courses he has participated in Turkey and abroad is 21 and the number of certified scientific activities is 44. He has been performing all kinds of laparoscopic operations in the abdominal region featuring: Closed Gall Bladder Surgery, Closed Hernia Surgery, Reflux operation (Fundoplication), Laparoscopic Large Intestinal Surgery and Retroperitoneal Lymphatic Dissections, Closed Appendicitis, Adrenal Gland, Liver Cyst, Spleen Removal Surgery and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) interventions.

This place is amazing, they really did a very through job of everything we can not knock them at all. The surgeon was brilliant very attentive coming and seeing us constantly explaning everything. Ida our translator was amazing she helped in any way possible, the young girls on the ward were also very luvly , they didn’t speak much English but were very helpful and would translate on google translate. All the people on our ward was English and we actually had good chats with them as they were in for the same procedure so that was nice to be able to chat to them. We were very nervous and scared going but we shouldn’t have been we had nothing to be worried about. Your in good hands 🙌 will recommend them. I’m now on day 7 since operation and 9 pounds lighter, I feel full of energy and motivated. This will be life changing for anyone. If you’re thinking of doing it …… just do it !... (Show more)

Although we called at around 23:00 at night before our surgery, Ms. Nihan welcomed us very warmly and gave us detailed information without any time limit. Subsequently, during the surgery, Mr. Tamer and Ms. Naciye were very kind and did their job professionally. Most importantly, our teacher Mehmet answered all our questions without getting tired, both during the pre-operative information and post-operative period. Dr. It has been more than 6.5 years since I had my gastric sleeve surgery performed by Mehmet Güler. I lost 35 kilos in total. Even though I gain and lose a little weight from time to time, I'm about the same weight. In short, Dr. I am very glad to have met Mehmet Güler and to have had this surgery. I had surgery on 11.07.2023. Today, 04.08.2023, I have already lost 16 kilos in total. It is very important where and by whom you have the operation performed. Mehmet Hodja and his team do an admirably good job. His assistant Nihan is another beautiful detail. I definitely recommend it.
