Dr Christian-Eiben Buns
Special interest in gum disease and implants who underwent specialist training in periodontology and dental implantology for 5 years. He is qualified as a Dental Surgeon (Marburg), Dr med dent (Marburg), Periodontist (Marburg), Specialist in periodontology (DGP) and is registered on the Specialist Registry in Periodontics (GDC) and has an MSc in Implantology (London). He won the Nobel Biocare Award for his performance in the Implant Programme at the Eastman Dental Institute. He also works in periodontal and implant research lectures frequently, nationally and internationally and has published to date 35 national and international papers as author and co-author. He is a member of the ADI. BSP. IADR. DGP. DGI. PZVD. and a fellow of the ITI and a ICD and Neue Gruppe. Germany.
Dr Nirmal Rana
BDS. Hons (Lond). LDS.RCS.(Eng), MFGDP. (uk) GDC: no 53832. Dr Rana is the Principal of the Ark Dental Practice and qualified with honours from University College Hospital , London in 1979. He has broad experience of all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and crown bridge work. He has been established in Richmond since 1982 making him one of the longest based dentists in the area. He has a reputation for being a very caring and sympathetic dentist, able to empathize with his patients.
Dr Carmel Coombs
DMD Manila 1987. Statutory. Exam UK 1994. GDC no 70023. Carmel achieved a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in Manila, Philippines in 1987. She worked in Saudi Arabia before moving to the Uk in 1991. She successfully passed her Statutory Examination and registered with the General Dental Council in 1994. She obtained the certificate in Restorative Dental Practice in 2009 and afterwards certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials in Eastman Dental Institute UCL. She is a certified user of the Inman Aligner Orthodontic Treatment since July 2012.
A wonderful surgery… we are always well looked after and Dr Rana and team are fabulous.
This is the only dental practice I have ever used that I recommend. I was referred here approximately 11 years ago as I have weak gums. I now see a hygienist, dentist and periodontal specialist all at this practice.
