I had an operation with femtolasik at Argus around 1.5 years ago. I didn't think it was possible with my vision which at the time was +4.75 and +4.5, with crooked corneas, but I was wrong. This is the best choice I have made and the view is impeccable. It also ensured that I could take pilot training, and had no impact on the flight medical examination, and no restrictions on the certificate. Top score!... (Show more)

Had laser surgery in early summer 2022. I thought a lot about when / if I should share a post. The vision is good during normal everyday use - both when using a PC and reading a book - but the night vision has suffered significantly. When observing stars / contrasts in the dark (e.g. house lights in the mountain home), it feels like I have a layer of water in my eyes. All strong lights create long lines of streaks and it takes a long time for the eyes to adjust to the surroundings. Can't imagine being able to function as a good soldier at night with this. In addition, I still need eye drops almost like when I used lenses. Sometimes I'm happy to get rid of lenses to see clearly during the day, but other times I regret the surgery since my night vision has gotten significantly worse. The autumn darkness has become considerably more difficult after this…... (Show more)

Good place, with good people. Unfortunately, they use Resurs bank, which drags down a LOT.

Took laser a little over 1 year ago with strength of around + 4.0 on the eyes. They were half an hour late, but it's better that they are careful and take their time than that they stress. Still very pleased with the sight and it was absolutely worth the money!

After a not entirely lucky experience in connection with an examination prior to lens replacement, everything was clarified and surgery was planned. On the day of the actual operation, there was again a mess and extra waiting before a surgeon had to take another look. Then suddenly they didn't want to carry out the lens change after all. Two relatively long days and unnecessary waiting time between the waste and still poor vision.... (Show more)

Operated my eyes some years back. Right eye didn't work at first, but I came back for a re adjustment and it was good. I reccomend everyone who wants to operate their eyes to take the SMILE technology. It is WAY better and safer than regular laser and these guys were the only ones in Norway who had this technology when at least I operated, or so I was told by someone else.... (Show more)

Stopped in for a thorough examination by friendly staff on Friday. The following Monday, I booked an appointment the same day and arranged the vision. It costs a fortune, but it does it everywhere. Service and results are impeccable.

Performed SMILE in April 2021. Very pleased with the result so far, and with the clinic. Examinations and follow-up were very friendly and very reassuring. The operation itself was short-lived, with no pain either during or after. Only some itching in the eyes for the first 2-3 days. Was back at work the next day. From having -5.5 and being completely dependent on glasses/lenses, I now see perfectly clearly. Can be safely recommended!... (Show more)

Had the FemtoLasik operation and couldn't be happier! Perfect vision already the next day, although the eyes still felt slightly swollen. The optician at the pre-examination was very good and explained the whole process and the procedure very well, which helped to calm the nerves surrounding the procedure. On the actual day of the operation, it only took 30 minutes from when I arrived at the operation until everything was finished. Willy Pedersen was good at explaining what he did during the procedure. It was all unfamiliar but nothing to be afraid of! What hurt the most were the anesthetic drops, as they sting a bit in the eyes for about 30 seconds, while the procedure itself was completely painless. The vision was unclear (a little hazy) for the first few hours after the operation, but that does not mean that you are blind on the day itself. Used the eye drops + glasses as directed, which worked perfectly without any problems. The agreement with interest-free repayment from Ressursbank is a good solution if you do not want to pay the full amount yourself. All in all, I am very satisfied with Argus Syn and can recommend them strongly!... (Show more)

This was amazing! I became aware of Argus' views on Facebook. Booked an appointment for an examination, where I never thought I would be able to avoid wearing glasses and was well received by professional, skilled people, everything from the receptionist, the optician, the nurse and the ophthalmologist. I felt well taken care of throughout the process, from when I assessed the possibilities for a laser operation and vision correction to the finished result! Extremely satisfied. Have been able to throw away: 1 regular pair of glasses, 2 pairs of sunglasses and 1 reading glasses - That feeling of being able to go and buy a normal cool pair of sunglasses - without special lenses because my eyes are fixed! Lovely - highly recommended. I have gained a new and better view of life :) Sølvi... (Show more)

I have struggled with contact lenses and poor eyesight for as long as I can remember. Was recommended to Willy Pettersen by a friend who is himself a surgeon and perfectionist. The next day I saw crystal clear and have never been happier. I had the SMILE operation. I could never imagine being able to see near and far so well. The operation took a few minutes and I felt nothing. Willy is the definition of professional. The rest of the team are also top notch.... (Show more)

Fantastic experience. I can finally see without lenses and glasses! The doctors and nurses at Argus are highly skilled. They make you feel safe before and during the operation, and answer questions educationally. The operation was painless, and was completed in 15 minutes. If I had known how easy the procedure was, I would have done it earlier!... (Show more)

I am very satisfied. I think it was good information. I got that Sharp treatment so I was up and running the next day. I even walked home by myself (although I had a friend with me to help if needed). I slept immediately, on off, the rest of the day (from 14.00 until the end of the day). I had little to no pain. During the actual operation, things went smoothly. I could tell I needed a break after the first eye was done, and then Willy gave himself plenty of time so I could calm down a bit after the first experience (eye). It is difficult to explain exactly what is happening, and thus I probably helped to make more out of it than was really necessary. Set was a bit of a contradiction between what the health sec said I was allowed to do right after, and what Willy said I was allowed to do, but Willy gave the right information the next day during follow-up. It has now been 6 months (since I wrote this). I'm glad I did it because then I stopped thinking about it so much, but life isn't terribly much better. It brings with it some advantages (can swim under water now), and some disadvantages (fire smoke hurts the eyes badly), but but. I am glad that I finished it, and I think the clinic was professional, good at informing and had good follow-ups. So all in all I am happy with who I bought the service from. I have attached an opportunity for a free vision test using the gift card seen here. Just print and mention my name.... (Show more)

Had surgery 8 months ago. Got pain in the right eye while being operated on. Still struggling with that eye. Constantly feels that something is in the eye, runs after half an hour watching TV. Been to them with no help. Sends me home another eye drop. Have booked an appointment with another specialist to check my eye.... (Show more)

When you see so poorly that you have to use your mobile phone and film with extra light and at the same time zoom in on what you are going to read, it is absolutely fantastic to be greeted by such calm, pleasant, skilled professionals. Very professional place. Good follow-up afterwards too, and flexible. Yes, and then I suddenly have perfect vision again, then! :)... (Show more)

Was referred from hospital but still had to pay NOK 1,400 for a 5-minute check-up, only to be told it looked OK. Totally worthless.

Incredibly comfortable not having to look for glasses or find lenses in the morning! Looking perfectly for good treatment by nice people at Argus. Recommended!

A few years ago they operated my eyes. In short my vision was horrible and now its great without having to use lenses or glasses. I experience no discomfort after the operation and i can barely remember i had ever any problems at all. The people who work there are always happy to see me as well and that makes me happy. Thank you argus syn. You have changed my life.... (Show more)

Had to postpone the survey. Didn't hear anything more and assumed it was the same time. Arrived at Argus Syn. They didn't find me right away. Was listed at a different time, and the confirmation was sent to the wrong mobile number. Canceled everything. Don't you dare let them operate in my eyes.
