I love the NHS and but the tall grey man in Minor Injuries Queen Vic really needs to improve his manners and people skills or change vocation. He was incredible rude to me and made me upset when I was already upset because I was there with my young daughter and she was in a lot of pain with an injury. I have always had a fantastic experience at minor injuries ?(been on various occasions with my children) and have never experienced being spoken to before like that for no reason whatsoever, they said they were busy but that is no excuse.... Absolutely pathetic service . I came here with an appointment been given in advance over a month that I have been waiting since last year august after being referred by my consultant I kept getting told clinic is running late and they can’t say anything more . More than 4 hours of waiting here to see the doctor for an appointment that was scheduled . Beware before coming here try change your appointment and don’t bother coming in here . Absolutely pathetic staff and service . Not at all helpful .... (Show more)

I had surgery for an impacted wisdom tooth and the level of care was exceptional from pre-assessment to completion - honestly better than some private treatment I've had. I wish the rest of the NHS was this good!

My wife just had her leg amputated. Surgeons are great and very experienced. Most nurses were great but some pulled her around without looking at her notes, which clearly showed she has multiple shoulder replacements. Food was bad. I took in coffee and cake from onsite coffee shop, which is excellent. Follow up appointments generally good but are always running 30-60mins late. Main gripe is the parking, which is a nightmare. Even with a blue badge there are rarely enough spaces (given that the hospital deals with patients with severe disabilities, this is strange). I see visitors getting very confused as to where to park, with many parking in staff designated spaces. Allow an extra 15mins to park, or you maybe late.... (Show more)

I have just been on my 3rd visit at the maxillofacial department of QVH and have received excellent patient care every time. Reception team and the HCA are friendly and polite, appointment was on time and I can't thank Dr Gilvetti enough for being the best doctor and for the effective treatment.Highly recommended.

Patient in front turned up very late so all of us then had to wait , should be a NHS rule if your late go home start again , after all not everyone with work commitments can be kept waiting another hour

I missed an appointment due to my daughter being diagnosed type 1 dietetic in the same week as my appontment explained this when asking to move the appointment and was told that they will not re-book this appointment as I didn't let them aware in time. Of course not like I was panicking about my 10 year old getting diatbeties. They didn't care and they don't want to hear it, they behaved like I had wasted there time. Wasn't being checked for a cold or anything minor but for cancer, so it's something pretty urgent and serious. Disgraceful treatment of human beings. Not to mention the building is almost derelict and not at all for for purpose. You will get better treatment and sympaphy from a vetenary. I guess if I do have cancer I just have to accept it now as now I have to spend another 6 months being referred by my GP to get an appointment. Shame on me for prioritising my child hey... Handled with the uttermost professionalism and respect throughout the entire process. Waiting times much much better than rest of NHS and they were able to help resolve a complex problem other parts of the NHS could not.

Went in for surgery . And I have to say I am really impressed with all the medical staff , so friendly well mannered and really took time out to cater for your needs . They were really supportive and caring . I felt very well lookafterd and I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. I can never sleep in hospitals but I managed to in this one. They even moved me to a quieter ward and were so considerate . Everyone is helpful and you don’t feel anxious to ask for help ! My surgeons seemed great despite last minute changes and my anaesthetist really made me feel at ease. Keep up the great work !... (Show more)

I was helped by Dr Reguna today and I was in very very good hands. Not only did he help me with the problem I was misdiagnosed by another doctor for days earlier but I would also like to mention how professional he was, how well and fast he handled the things he had to deal with but also how cared for I felt. I wish I could have him as my GP... (Show more)
