Very expensive bar and food not up to much
Lovely spa day. It was surprisingly busy even on a week day so not a very relaxing place to just hang out as it became hard just to find seats around the pool.
Had a great massage swim and lunch was great
The setting of the spa here is lovely, it's only saving grace!! Swimming pool area is tired, cold, grubby, poorly maintained and overpriced!! Won't be visiting again.
Nice but drinks stupid expensive, £5 for a fizzy tepid black sheep and £10.15 for a double vodka and cranberry. Pricing absolute joke

Amazing spa day and afternoon tea. Staff were wonderful.
My other half went to the spa and had 2 wonderful treatments, the staff were very friendly and the treatments were very relaxing. Not that busy so a very relaxing environment, well worth a visit.
Had a great spa day, excellent therapist. Good food, beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff.

Nice course
Loved it was amazing. Felt so relaxed after. Went for my husband 50th birthday for 3 days.
This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Very expensive so you would expect a premium service. I found on my visit the bar was busy with not effective staff numbers. The breakfast was poor. The staff didn't show you to a table or explain the procedure and where to find the buffet etc... The food was self service with poor ingredients the bacon and sausage not of the quality I would have expected. I have stopped at hotels for much less in equally great settings and found the food to be better. To make this better I would have liked cutlery at the table. I asked on entering but nothing was provided. I eventually had to approach staff again and was handed some without apology. I went with others and they experienced the same issue. I give this place 2 stars due to the location and room being good size with bed being comfortable.... (Show more)

Lovely grounds and average hotel however its having a massive refit so watch this space.
Aldwark Manor is next to a lush Golf course it is a delightful venue very well run, the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful the food is sumptuous and the wine list has a few nice surprises, we attended a Wedding of an Army Officer, and during the drinks reception The Chris White Jazz Trio played adding a touch of class... Been before three times now with my mum and we love it! Staff are friendly, afternoon teas are wonderful and we love the treatments. We love going to here and we have recommended this place to all our friends and family
Had a lovely spa day here with a delicious afternoon tea. Staff are so friendly and helpful, it was a great day, will be returning soon.
Not what I'd call a relaxing spa at all. Kids swim lessons took place for the whole afternoon!!
