From starting my treatment, Jemma has been very informative. She has reassured me she can help and try and get my back to how it should be. I am seeing improvement after 5 weeks. I would recommend Alba to anyone who needs their back adjusting.

Friendly and helpful staff. Have helped me enormously with herniated disc problem and subsequent hip problem.

Just wanted to pop a quick review up saying how good Alba have been to me over the past few years. I signed up in 2018 as I was having trouble with my lower back, and after having adjustments here for a couple of months I was back in good shape. Had a check up appointment every month since, apart from during the pandemic, and had <$_2>!... (Show more)

The staff at Alba are really friendly, understanding, and accommodating. I’m feeling so much better after a few months thanks to their care and transparency. Highly recommend Alba if you are looking to improve your life!

I sprained my ankle and it stopped me from sitting on the floor and as a class teacher this made my job 100X harder. I wasn't sure initially if ankles were something that could be worked on at alba but my goodness was that phone call worth it! Not only is my ankle back to full strength but my lower back, neck and migraines are so much better. Callum is amazing and I can't thank him enough for the flexibility and dexterity he has given back to me for my whole body and not just my ankle!... (Show more)

Avoid this place, injured my back at work, paid £70 for a consultation, got into the room for the consultation to be then asked if I want to pay £40 for an X-ray which wasn’t disclosed when ringing up or speaking to the receptionist, £110 down before even getting any pain relief, had the x ray to be told they send them off to Australia to be examined, went back to reception to book in for a return to get my results, practitioner said “there maybe a wait on results as the time difference”, receptionist booked me in for 8am the next morning, I asked “are the results going to be back in time” which they replied “should do”, all this place is arsed about is money and If there’s no one in the clinic who can look at an X-ray and examine it properly to see if I’ve actually done damage are they even qualified enough to treat me? Avoid at all cost... (Show more)

Lovely, friendly professional staff. After years of suffering with my back, Calum has worked wonders.

Very pleasant clinic and the staff are polite and professional. However - I felt I was processed through a script and tick list - not the person centred approach I anticipated. I wasn’t asked beforehand what I wanted to get from the treatment and it felt like ‘the treatment plan’ was aimed at extracting the maximum amount of money possible. Sorry but I won’t be returning and will find a therapist who is interested in me rather than seeing me as an opportunity to maximise business income.... (Show more)

I went for an initial appointment and like so many there was nothing but form filling and a hard sell. I wasn't treated and came away feeling it was a complete waste of money. I was then presented with an expensive plan. The whole experience was of no benefit.

I have been coming to Alba for just over a year now and the difference it has made to my life has been amazing. From the moment I stepped through the door I was made to feel welcome and at ease. For the first time in years I was listened too and supported it was such a relief to be heard and for someone to understand what i was going through. I can not praise Alex and Pete enough for all their hardwork and dedication they've put into my treatment to help me over this last year, as well as a few other amazing team members who have had to put up with me 🙂. These guys are truly awesome. Carly.... (Show more)

I feel alba is a money making racket and the young lady who was over seeing myself was very scripted in what she was saying. I have wasted £150 at Alba and still in pain with my back. The lady who was “looking “ after me wanted me to come back to alba 4 times per week who can afford that and who has the time to be go to alba 4 times per week, I don’t live close by. Alba always insists on x-rays another £49 be careful and do your homework unlike myself. I advise you look on Groupon as that site has a chiropractor for £25 for two sessions a fraction of what it cost me. The staff at Alba talk to their clients is if they are reading an auto q, very scripted and their voice all one tone. Please do your homework. I had a chiropractor massage by a young man with sweaty palms and he was no benefit to my back, not many cracks... (Show more)

I am £200 down after having a handful of appointments that gave me no relief, and if anything made me feel worse. Staff polite but the prices are extortionate and are not fully disclosed until you are 2 appointments in. Sorry but I won't be returning. I have seen chiropractors in the past who have helped me out of pain and treated me without trying to get me to commit to a plan costing £1500.

I strongly advise against choosing this clinic as they do not prioritize the wellbeing of their clients. It appears that their main focus is solely on monetary gain. I have noticed that many of the skilled practitioners have left.

The staff are all nice but everyone is put through the exact same process, no matter why you have gone to see them, this is 24 visits over 9 weeks at a cost of almost £1200. I went for a free consultation day then took up the 2 appointments for £35 new patient offer. Appointment 1 was a couple of photos and a chat and exam and a request for £150 for an xray, had this been mentioned at the start I wouldn't have bothered with the offer at all. At the end of the 2nd appointment I was taken to a room to sort out a payment plan for the whole treatment period and was told at that point that they wanted £49 for that appointment and she stuck to it even when I pointed out that I'd taken the initial 2 appointment deal! So that's an extra £199 on top of the new patient offer! I feel sorry for any elderly people who would go here and feel pressured into paying. Safe to say, I will not be going back.... (Show more)

Samantha has always been a people person and after completing a degree in Biology in 2006, she knew her career would lie in healthcare rather than a laboratory. However, at this time she was unsure of which avenue to take. It wasn’t until she visited a Chiropractor herself (whom she now works for here at Alba) after experiencing episodes of lower back pain during her time as a care worker, that she had found her perfect career.
